"Yes sir I am coming" I put on my training gear and went outside.
"Today you guys will run around the site whoever runs till the end can get a bronze 1 star pill for recovering stamina" everyone looked excited because once one loses his stamina in battle they will have to come back to recover which would take long and mean that they get less money. 1 recovering of stamina pill costed 50 bronze but no one wanted to spend their money just to go and die.
"Alright start" everyone started running some ran fast and some paced themselves as long as you don't walk then you can keep going so I decided to jog slowly. 'So I'm on the first layer of Qi condensation' once on the Qi condensation one has to refine their body further with Qi.
Because I had small storage of Qi I could actually run longer but right now I was barley feeling anything. 30 minutes go by in an instant and now everyone was running as now jogging counted as too slow and you would be disqualified.
They put prizes in training so people could train harder but of course they wouldn't give precious things to us as there were stronger squads that would benefit from it so we got poor quality stuff. In the camp we were separated by the colors of our bows, thousand of people were in the bronze and hundreds in silver and in gold there were 200 people and then there were the 10 elites of the archer squad.
I was only a bronze archer with 1 arrow but I was seen as greatly talented and hardworking so they gave special care for me. After 2 hours there were only few of us and everyone just dropped out one by one. 2 hours later and I still didn't look that tired while the other two were panting one was a bronze archer with 2 arrows and the other with 3 arrows but we were all just 13 to 15 years old but everyone that was 15 were sent to silver bow squad.
Soon after 10 more minutes the training ended with me wining I was sweating a little and didn't look to tired. "Ahah a true genius look at that he's not even that tired he will become an elite in the future" the elders laughed proudly while talking to others and they too shook their heads.
After the running I was given my pill I went to get breakfast before I continued training as I haven't eaten since yesterday. After eating I came to the place where the elders were chatting. "Elder Bo I would like to take the advancement test" I looked at elder bo seriously.
"No problem, come on guys at-least we got something to do" the other nodded and followed, we soon came to a field with few targets with numbers of arrows. "Okay go ahead and do the one for the 2 arrows". "Yes elder".
I picked up the bow that was given and 3 arrows, I had to get 25 points to advance and the distance from the target and me wasn't near and was placed 50 meters. This isn't that hard but this target was all about accuracy as the targets were small but because of the Qi I could enhance my vision.
In a series of 3 seconds all arrows disappeared and appeared on the target all hitting the 10 point mark which was a perfect score. "Haha fast and accurate good very good". "Can I try the next one?".
"Go ahead" I then got 3 more arrows and moved on the the next target which was placed 100 meters which was about the same distance as some football fields I've seen. I again used Qi to enhance my vision and the the 3 arrows disappeared again and I got a perfect. "Can I try...."
This repeated a few times until I got to the silver bows which I nailed, I tried the 2nd arrow target but unfortunately I couldn't get a perfect score. "Ahaha silver archer interesting you're going to places kid".
"I know it ain't Vegas".
"You said something?".
"No I was just talking to myself"
"Alright let's get you registered"
I went and got my new uniform which now had a silver bow with 1 arrow, I also received 200 silver and they sent 100 silver to my family I had wondered why they did this but then I got the answer and that was to thank them for their child's achievements as they knew that the parents could take their kids back if they felt worried so they sent money 'bribed' to them.
I was given a tent in the silver squad.

It was another horn and it was for everyone to assemble at the ground.
After arriving at the ground there were hundreds of people.
"First congratulations to Goto for achieving silver rank" everyone looked at where he pointed and they all clapped and welcomed Goto. "Ok next we will be heading into the forest of origin".
I was kinda confused when I heard him cause I didn't really know why but to clear up my confusion a skinny guy beside me started speaking.
"We do this sometimes as training but we are only allowed at the edge" he explained
"Thank you for the info my name is Goto nice to meet you"
"Ah hello Goto-San, my name is ryu"
'Eh did he say San? Isn't that Japanese?'
"Uhh well hell to you to ryu-s...San"
That was embarrassing.
We were spending 3 months in this forest to temper our fighting experience either close combat or archery, I bought few food pellets and grabbed my my void pouch which Goto has bought in the past when he saved a lot of money.
We left for the forest and at the entrance some people separated while others went in teams, I quickly separated from the group and went by myself I ventured in more. The edge and the inner part was separated by paint on the floor so no one accidentally went in and died.
After a few minutes I came across a beast which was at the first layer of Qi condensation, in the forest there were beasts which cultivated but also monsters which couldn't. The beast in front of me was a white dear with a big horn which was slightly blue, this was the blue horned deer it's horns were worth money but since they could cultivate people were cautious.
I decided to plan carefully, the deer sat down and ate the grass from the floor I took out my nether serpent bow and 3 of the Wolf fanged arrows. I aimed 2 arrows first at each of its eyes and waited for it to stop moving.
*Swooosh* "gdrrrrrr" it screamed and it's eyes were both penetrated in a split second I took the third arrow and expanded the string to its limit and aimed at the brain and *swooish* the deer fell down.
"Hehe good good I will put you in the pouch"
