I really didn't belong in a pack. The signs were there from the start. I frantically pack the remainder of things into my bag and rush to the door. I was in my jeans and a t-shirt. The smell of smoke becoming stronger as I ran down the corridor to the staircase.
I rush down the stairs. Damien was on the other side of the house fight the rogues that had come back. However the beta who I'd come know as Damon, Damien's little brother was the one who grabbed me.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"I'm uhhhh." I said and he just smirked.
"How badly do you wanna leave?" He asked and I was caught of guard and that made him smile even more. He stepped aside so I could past. As I was at the now scorched door he spoke again.
" You know I will have to tell him you're gone right?" He asked and I turned around.
"Give me five minutes to get to a safe distance away." I said and I transformed not caring that my clothes were now in pieces. I nodded to him as he opened the door for me and sprinted of at a speed I hadn't realized I had.
I was about a mile away from the border when I sensed his presence.
"Stop," He said to me using his alpha voice. I turn around angry that he'd stoop so low and use the Alpha voice on me; his mate. I didn't even want to be here. I was an idiot to make that deal with him. I wanted to stay mad; however the mate bond wasn't allowing it and so I did as I was told. Not that I really had a choice seeing as he used the Alpha voice on me.
"Come to me," he then said, his voice softening. It was as if a gravitational force had bound me to him and I walked towards him. It wasn't just some gravitational pull though, it was the moon. The pull of the moon is what caused me to walk straight into his open arms. I was totally weak to this pull and no matter how much I wanted to pull away from him I couldn't. I just couldn't. I was stuck here with him no matter how much I didn't like it. Then, I kicked him and sent him flying onto a tree. It physically hurt me to hurt him. I looked at the other wolves that was with him challenging them to try to attack and bring me back. They whimpered knowing fulling well whether unofficial or not I was their Luna. and they couldn't hurt me so they bowed to me as I was about to break into a sprint.
Before I left I took a look at Damien to see him groaning unable to get up. His eyes were pleading with me to stay and it broke my heart but I didn't belong. It was better for him and his pack if a rogue like me stayed away.
Once a rogue always a rogue and there was no changing that. I felt a tear in my eye from my wolf's pain as I sprinted leaving my destiny behind probably forever.
