I was cornered with no where to run and all I could see was my mate. His golden eyes looking into mine and I could just tell there was nowhere to run. That and the fact that I was surrounded by wolves twice my size.
Again nowhere to run.
"Follow me." he says gently but still with a stern, demanding voice through a mind link. I wasn't apart of his pack but because I was his mate I could hear him clearly. I hesitated earning a low threatening growl form a few of the other wolves. I whimpered knowing full well if I resisted I'd probably be taken but force. It wasn't looking so great for me at all. I followed behind them walking at a slow pace but they didn't seem to be bothered, once I was still following they seemed to be alright. My mother thought me to always take in my surroundings but all I was seeing was forest and trees. We were at least five miles into their territory. There was one tree that stood out to me. It looked centuries old. It had branches twisting around it as if it was protecting something. One of the wolves growled at me to walk faster as I lingered to look at the tree. I growl back in defiance and took up my speed. If I was in human form I would have my arms folded and stomping. We walked until we reached a clearing where a house; well mansion with pack members walking around it. When they catch my scent they instantly went high alert and looked right at me. Then the alpha my mate seemed to have mind linked them because they instantly whimper and look away. I could still tell however that they were still on high alert. I was led into the mansion where I saw a few more pack members one person in particular could not stop growling and snarling at me. I felt a bit threatened but I didn't show it as the men split off to change to human form and get on with whatever had to do. I was left with my mate.
"Come." He says and I sigh and walked after him. He led me to a bedroom which looked quiet barren. It had a bed, closet and drawer and that was it. I turned my head to the side as I looked at him puzzled. Was he really thinking that I was going to stay and live here?
He left and I took a few seconds looking after him. I sat down on the carpet and looked around the room once more. I didn't belong here I was the daughter of two rogues. In some ways it was a pack but they were my family. The only person that ties me to this pack is my mate the alpha.
I howled in pain as claws stick into my back. I didn't have time to react as sharp teeth wrap around my neck. I went completely still.
