His cruel laughter bounced off the narrow tunnel walls as he took off. The harsh sound grated against Grayson's ears, and he fought down another wave of fury that urged him to pursue Killian.
His last words haunted Grayson, lingering in the slate air of the cavern. It was his fault that he had gotten away. Grayson was careless and selfish for risking the lives of werewolves everywhere to help Alison. He couldn't help it, though. He would be lost without her if anything happened to her.
