THE REST OF THE DAY PASSED BY QUICKLY, but Alison ached to be in Grayson's presence again. She broke the news to her parents that they were returning to the other pack village the following day. As she expected, they were not overjoyed, but judging by the look on her father's face, he recognised Grayson's scent all over her. Her father wasn't stupid, and he wasn't going to prolong the inevitable. She was going to accept Grayson, and it was her responsibility as his Mate to follow him wherever he went, helping him when she could. Thankfully, her parents may not have been pleased, but they weren't heartbroken like last time. Yet, it was best for her to be as far away from Killian as possible.
She nearly jumped for joy when Grayson mind linked with her just as the darkness of the night was taking over the sky.
