ALISON LEFT THE CAFE, aware of her Mate's eyes boring into the back of her mind. Part of her wanted to get some coffee, but as her eyes fell upon a bar and grill across the street, she realised that she needed a heartier meal. She was striding out of the cafe. Alison was glad she had shoved her wallet into the back of her jeans on her way out. These jeans had buttoning pockets in the back, which was perfect, so the contents didn't fall out while she was running in wolf form, and Alison tied her clothes around her ankle. Alison hadn't been sure they would have time to eat, but now she was grateful for the foresight.
