AVOIDING GRAYSON'S GAZE, she made her way towards the front door. Before she could get there, Grayson shifted position and stood directly in front of her. "I'm walking with you."
"I can find the way to my own house. I've made the trip from here like a bazillion times." Alison was pretty sure 'Bazillion' wasn't a word, but hopefully, he got the point.
"You're drunk. I'm not letting you wander around." He was stern in his argument, but the following few words, she didn't quite catch. "Not after what happened last time."
She huffed, knowing she would not win this argument- especially in her drunken stupor. She shook her head a bit, trying to clear it of the fuzziness, but that only made the world shift around her, so Alison immediately stopped. Trying not to let her dizziness show, she followed Grayson as he turned around and opened the front door.
