TWO HOURS IT HAS BEEN SINCE GRAYSON HAD LEFT, Alison sat downstairs with the TV on, and she brought it out of her dazing state. Her throat was raw and dehydrated again. She stretched, deciding that it couldn't hurt to grab a glass of water after she went to the restroom. Slowly, she climbed out of bed, ignoring the protesting aches and pains. The room's air was cooler when she wasn't under the stifling covers, and it felt pleasant on her sweaty skin.
After using the restroom, she tiptoed downstairs, curious about who was watching television. Alison's parents had already come to on her after Grayson had left, and they were now fast asleep in their room.
