"HEY, I FINALLY FOUND YOU!" A person shouted from across the training field. Hailee.
A groan had started to develop deep down, but she held it in. Instead, she gave her a silent greeting with her hand. Alison involved no smile.
She couldn't help it; weeks have gone by, and Hailee didn't even bother to reply to her texts, ignoring her altogether. Hailee returned the grin as if nothing has happened between them like there wasn't any tension in the air. If Hailee didn't feel an energetic pressure loaming around them, Alison did. It was impossible to ignore; the only person Alison felt like wasn't out there trying to hurt ghosted her entirely.
Hailee waved back, taking long strides until she reached the bench she was sitting. "Have you been ignoring me or what? I thought you die or something." She said.
The irritation build inside her. Alison wanted to ask the same thing, but Hailee seemed oblivious. "I ignored everyone."
