ALISON HAD MANAGED TO CONVINCE GRAYSON TO STAY, but that still didn't manage to clear things up with him. Grayson was on edge, constantly looking over his shoulder, and it was making her feel uneasy. The next several days were miserable.
Strangely enough, her misery wasn't solely due to the violent images of the two strangers and what they and done to her, assaulting her mind every time she closed her eyes. While this was an issue, the leading cause of her agitation was Grayson himself.
Alison had asked him about those strangers who had kidnapped her, why he was so insistent on hating Tyler, Someone she didn't even know, but he had told her that she had. She did know him, and yet, her mind was drawing blanks. When did she ask Grayson about him and what he had meant? He returned it with, 'It's better if you don't know.' It had ended the conversation altogether.
