BITING HER LIP HESITANTLY, She stared back at him. It was obvious she'd run off and that she needed to return, but inside she didn't want to. She wanted to spend more time with, yet, he was insisting on sending her back there.
"Why?"
"Huh?" He replied not understanding what she had meant by that.
"Why?" She repeated moving until she was standing right in front of him. "Why do I have to go?"
He only stared back at her, something swirling within those green pools of his. Grayson's eyes darkened, "Because..." He began to say but he never continued, she wondered what he was going to say.
"Because...?" She repeated after him, pestering him to continue but he didn't. In fact his eyes just got darker, a deadly look and it was all directed at her.
Had she said something wrong?
"Where else would you go Alison," he says, hands into fists. "You're safe there."
