ALL EYES WERE ON HER, she felt it the tension within the room the moment she'd entered it. Her mother held her hand as she had sat down and her father sat next to her too. Marcel hadn't lied when he had said her father was alive and honestly she didn't cared about the fact that he was now just like him.
Marcel's eyes never left her. They held something behind them, a darkness. Anger even but she didn't understand why. It was like he was keeping a close eye on her, as if she was some kind of ticking time bomb about to go off. Maybe she was and she just didn't know it, but whatever it was they all seemed on edge.
He has changed since the last time she'd seen him. Hair was slightly shorter and he had a stubble. The green in his eyes held a shadow over it, withdrawn from the rest of the word. From everyone in this room, yet she didn't miss the look he was giving her. A disappointment.
A Worried even.
