WHY COULDN'T SHE REMEMBER? Where there should be memories it was a blank space, like a soft beige wall bereft of photographs. Alison couldn't recall many words, faces, anything that included information, she didn't even remember passing out in the first place. What the hell happened to her?
Alison heaving herself off the bed, but was pushed gently back into the covers. "You need to rest." Marcel said, covering her further with the covers coving her legs.
"Why can't I remember?" She whispers, pulling the covers closer to her. Her mind felt so blank, so empty.
A deep void. A dark void. A never ending dark void that had began to consume her, leaving her nothing. Empty. Nothing to subside her hollow soul that creeps in the shadows, away from any living being. Something was taken from her.
"How do you feel?" Esther asked, walking towards her, pushing Marcel away from her side.
