THE INFORMATION TRIED TO SINK IN, but somehow it was like it was lost in translation. Had he really say her aunt was his mate? A human and a witch, it was ironic. Seeing as the two species were forbidden to ever pursue anything of a sort.
"Emily was your mate?" She asked. Barely did she sound convincing, and he had caught the action.
"You sound like you don't believe me." He pointed out. She didn't, not even a little bit.
Her aunt had kept her mate way from her knowledge, it didn't sound anything like her. But then again, she had kept so many things from her too. "It's a little hard to, since it doesn't make any sense. Why would she banish her own mate here?" Alison asked, watching his every possible movement.
"It's simple. Out of spite for not loving her." He said simply, still his eyes remained looking at hers. If he was lying, he was good at it, never did he flinch or indicate of telling a lie but to her it didn't mean squat, she didn't trust him.
