Chereads / His Human / Chapter 33 - CHAPTER 32

Chapter 33 - CHAPTER 32

THIRD POV

Jacob grunted as he tackled a hunter off the ground. Sinking his canines deep in  his neck, ripping his throat out, he felt the blood of his latest victim staining his teeth. He didn't mind though, he was moving wih speed, feeling the adrenaline pumping with every kill he took. They've been battling for almost three hours, trying to secure the Bloodstone pack., one of the packs Jullian was currently invading.

Killian was fighting off rougues away from alpha Joshua's pack in Australia. Jacob was currently in Belgium while Mike remained at the royal pack. Jullian proved to be more sinister, claiming the lives of the innocent for his benefit. He wasn't even there which made Jacob more angry. He hated that his brother manipulated all these people just to leave them to die. The audacity of sending people to war when you, the leader isn't there to fight with them.

He didn't waste another second as he jumped from the now dead Nolcan to a rogue which dove for him. Sinking his canines into its leg, Jacob tore flesh, leaving a deep wound that would slow it down. He couldn't toy with his victim like he wanted to so he went for the kill, rippinf its throat, tossing it asside next to his previous victim.

His eyes scanned ariund the field, searching for any threat, when they found none, he shifted to his human form, drawing the beast back into its layer. His naked body was drenched in blood, his shoulder dislocated from tackling with one of the rogues. He was limping slightly from a gash wound on his right thigh, but didn't care..it'll heal he thought. Over fifty bodies lay across the packhouse, dismembered beyond recognition. He sighed, watching as his  two men dragged away corpses of children. Innocent..but Jullian...Jullian didn't care, that he knew for sure.

It had been three and a half weeks since Killian found hi. passed out on the road where Lira was taken. He had been living in guilt in those three weeks. He had never seen Killian so angry and frustrate, and he was on the recieving end of his anger for the first two weeks.

Killian didn't eat, sleep or talk...He moved like a robot trying to find where Lira was. He had everyone under his rule searching for his mate. If he wasn't in his office he was out there..everywhere looking for her. Jacob felt terrible because she was taken in under his supervision

If only I had informed Killian about that meeting then she would've been here, safe in the arms of her mate. The guilt and anger towards himself kept him awake at night.

If that wasn't bad enough, Jullian decided to invade packs in a span of days. Many Jullian, with the help of rebellious wolves and the Nolcans, was able to destroy five of the sixteen packs in the state. That sums up to over seven hundred innocent people killed in his rampage, humans and wolves alike. It was clear that he was declaring war against Killian and he didn't care about the lives he took just to get what he wanted.

He knew Killian was weak and decided to use that to his advantage. Jacob still never understood why Killian insisted on not killing him because he would've skinned him alive for what he did to their father. In both Jacob and Samantha's minds, Jullian deserved to die in the most painful way.

Jacob was helpless, watching his younger brother feel every single death of his wolves. He would hear his grunts of pain everytime someone died. In those two three weeks, they had managed to save ten packs from being destroyed, killing over three hundred of Jillian's minions. To him, Jullian didn't have enough numbers but he had the element of suprise.

He never attacked the packs in a pattern but he just randomly invaded them. Killian was able to secure the rest of the packs but he knew it wasn't enough. Jullian had people working for him in several packs, making it harder for them to be a step ahead of him. So far, only seventy people had been killed for going against the crown. Six men and four women, charged with treason and sentenced to death in front of every single pack member, killing each and everyone of them brutally, Killian would rip out their arms, hearts, or heads, leaving them barely recognizable. They all gave them pieces of information that led to the two people, now in cells, who were the ones they reported to..meaning that they were the  ones communicating wih Jullian himself.

Approching the cells, his demeanor changed to something else, something more sinister and merciless. Jacob streached, preparing himself to interrogate the two people partly responsible for the deaths of hundreds innocent lives. His body was healing and that gave him more strength to do what he mostly enjoyed in this life.

That was one of the many things Jacob was good at. To a random person, one might mistake him for a sweet caring man but deep down, Jacob, Jullian and Killian were alike, all three brothers fed on fear, while Jullian loved terrorising his victims, Killian loved killing in the most gruesome way possible and Jacob loved torturing his victims even though they eventually told him everything they knew, he didn't stop until died from exhaustion. He loved watching their souls leave their bodies like the sadastic wolf he was. Jacob was always the one Killian trusted to getting out information from people. When he was summoned for 'interogations', as he called them, his eyes would brighten like a child recieving his Christmas present.

He padded towards the first cell where a man dangling upside down from the ceiling was kept. He smiled mischievously at his next present, all wrapped around in chains all just for him. Slamming his shoulder onto the wall, his shoulder popped back into place, the sound waking the man from his slumber. Their gazes met just as he opened the cell. Jacob could smell the fear radiating from his body and that alone, made him the happiest man on this planet.

"Shall we begin?" he muttered with a  sinister grin.
