Everybody gasp and retreated away from the guy and the man under his boots. The man started utterly begging.
"S-sir...S-sir Ron, p-please p-please s-spare m-me." - he looks like he's going to cry any minute soon.
"Oh, what did you say? Wasn't it just a few moments ago that you started insulting the Lady of the Shire? Where did that brave guy go, huh?" - He stared at the person down below with a smirk. "Hmm, where'd he go?"
Seeing that I wonder to myself, should I step in and stop them soon, I'll be running late! The road is crowded, and the carriage is stuck amid the people. Should I go out and stop this or should I just do what Vivienne would always do...
*Flashback*
People started crowding in front of the carriage. Vivienne gets pissed off and opens the window stuck her head out and
"YOU STUPID PEOPLE!! GET OUT OF THE WAY OR ELSE I'LL BE LATE FOR MY MEETING WITH EMPEROR!" - Vivienne glared at them angrily. "I WILL KILL ANYONE HOLDING ME BACK, ALL OF YOU GET OUT OF MY SIGHT, NOW!"
Everyone starts backing away making way for Vivienne's carriage. The carriage starts running by and Vivienne keeps glaring out at the window which made the people outside uncomfortable.
*End of flashback*
I sat there patting my hand on my forehead trying to think of a way to get out of here without making a big fuss. Cause I believe that this situation is a test. Why do I think that? Because ever since the incident where Vivienne scold the people, nobody dares to stand in her way. But now, why would they do that? And why of all the days, the day I'm on my way to meet the emperor. That guy he does not look like an ordinary guy, he looks more like a noble or a royal guard from the palace. I smirk just at that thought. The thought of the emperor testing my instinct. I think Nanny notice the way I smiled that she decided to ask if I was alright.
"My lady, are you alright? Do you want me to tell the guards to sue the people out the way?" - Nanny looks worried for my journey. But for me, of course, the one who understands what's going on just smiled.
"Oh Nanny, you don't have to worry. His majesty will understand why we'll be running late. Call one of the guards to come open the door." - I spoke as my glance is still on the two people making a big fuss outside my carriage. Nanny gets more worried.
"But my lady! We came out 2 hours early so that when you reach the palace, you'll be able to stroll around and get to see the places you haven't been to!" - Oh Nanny, I understand what she means but still I'm not ready to be in the palace yet. Maybe we can stroll around here (town square) for a while...after I resolve what's happening outside.
"Nanny, it's alright. Call the guards. And after this we're strolling around the street for some more ingredients for my new experiment." - I excitedly examined. Nanny smiled at my reasoning.
"Alright fine. But remember just for a while." - She pointed her figure while reasoning.
"Alright, Nanny!" - I said cheerfully with a smile. Nanny looked shocked for a minute or two before she returned a smile. She turned around to the window and called the closest guard.
"Hey, you there! Open the door." - The guard looked startled at first but then he started towards the door and opened it. Standing beside the open door he bowed and held out his hand as if waiting for me to grasp it for support. I smiled at his actions. I stood up and started towards the open door. The noises from outside started dying out and their focus was towards the door. I took a deep breathe in and out before smiling. Now I finally am going to enter the world Vivienne once lived in.
