Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven | Jayden

Saatchi Gallery, near Sloane Square Station was the Venue for the upcoming Fashion Runaway.

Currently, I was at Gallery 8 at Saatchi Gallery. Leo wasn't able to come, because he had to fly urgently to Italy for the company issues. But what was surprising that neither of three partners – Vincent, Nyla and I – didn't bring our secretaries today.

Saatchi Gallery was at Duke of York's HQ King's Road, London. Among the other galleries, Gallery 8 was the most beautiful with seats up to320 and standing up to 280. Which means it was quite big for a big fashion show to be held. The cost was also high though, since we had to pre-order our food and drink.

The Gallery interiors were modern, simple and very well proportioned with high ceilings; an ideal blank canvas for an elegant setting.

Overall, it was the perfect taste.

I felt a pull and looked over to see Vincent tugging at my hand. I gave him a hard glare but obliged, nonetheless.

"What now?" I folded my arms, leaned against the wall and looked at him.

Today, I was wearing a emerald floral printed formal dress. I knew it was a bad choice especially in front of this guy because the dress was extremely backless and had a deep v-cut neckline.

"I wanted to take you to a place and then go for shopping." He leaned towards me, briefly, then stood straight.

I watched him closely, thinking what could be the actual motive behind this. I contemplated to ask him about it and , finally went for it.

"Why? We aren't real ,so, I don't think that's necessary." I felt a pang in my chest, but quickly steeled my mind, knowing the consequences.

"We aren't"

"Then we don't need to."

"My mother is organizing a Wine Tasting Party and she wanted to see my girlfriend." He looked everywhere, I think to see if anyone was coming.

"She was Okay with me? And your father?" His jaw clenched at the mention of his father. I wondered why but didn't pry.

"They weren't and that's what we have to do." He smirked, "That's why I wanted a fake relationship with you."

I rolled my eyes and nodded, "Then do I need to do something unique? And I need information?"

He raised his brows, "Information?"

"I think that's what I said." With that, I began to the main hall, him tailing behind me.

"Regarding?"

"Your family, likes, anything that I can answer that they ask."

He agreed with that, "Later then."

I didn't reply and entered the hall to find Nyla asking about some concluding questions. I guess we missed quite a lot of information and that made me feel bad for the company.

This was exactly I didn't want.

He was a distraction to my work and he could be my next victim. Yeah... I know, it didn't sound exactly appealing but that's how I referred my past encounters. Victims...was the ideal way to refer them after the stunts I'd pulled often.

"Where were you two?"

Her voice was a mixture of seriousness and mischief. Her beautiful eyes held a playful glint, which made my ears flared up. After all, when I didn't blush, like in five years, I was surprised myself as I had been caught doing something naughty.

She grinned and wrapped her right arm to my shoulder. "Let's go."

"It's over?" I shot a glare at Vincent to which he shrugged.

She giggled - one of those irritating giggles, but I just listened - and nearly pulled me to the entrance of the Saatchi Gallery. Vincent followed us, silently.

I stared at the light blue, pink and orange hues of the dusk that seemed to calm me with the busy jostling of people. It relieved me and the danger for my company and my position went away for a moment, since it had become like a neon sign, that always worried me.

After all the way dragging me up to here, I thought she would saying something to me but instead she just took her own Volkswagen. We - Vincent and I - stared at her like fools as she waved her hand, screaming, "goodbye!"

I blinked back dumbly and sighed, frustrated. It was as if Leo was still present in Nyla's body.

And I missed him, terribly.

I don't know what he could find by going to the main branch in Italy but if helped later, I wasn't complaining. His mission was to restore everything back to place while mine was similar with a add-on.

Finding who was the mastermind behind it all.

"Let's go." Vincent's voice sounded distant.

And it was. For he was by our cars.

I frowned, confused to where 'Let's go." meant but walked to my Audi. Today my Audi was a bright red one, imported straight from Italy. It was alongside Vincent's sleek black BMW. The latest model of course.

"Where to?" I asked, doubt clear on my forehead.

"To buy dresses and to share information over dinner." He shrugged as if I had asked a dumb question.

"Can't we do that tomorrow?" I muttered, almost annoyed and tired.

"I can practically hear the tiredness in your voice." He opened the passenger door of his BMW, "But the Party is day-after-tomorrow and it would be best to buy it today."

I nodded and said, blankly, "I have a car, and I can drive, just tell me the address."

He didn't seem to like the idea as his own frown became prominent but still agreed. He ducked inside his car, grabbed something - a piece of paper, I guess - and wrote the details. Then he immediately, without even looking at me thrust the paper in my hand.

I stood there for a moment, unable to comprehend what just happened but then, slowly, a smirk crept on my lips.

Vincent Thompson had quite a temper. And also he liked controlling. Everything.

A few silent laughs escaped from me as I walked over to my car. Setting the location in my GPS, I backed away from the parking area and followed the road. My mind was a little cleared of everything as I admired the sky and soon realized that there were no interruptions. I had been driving within loads of people but now, I realized we were going towards a posh area of London.

In fact we passed a lot of fashion stores on the way, and I double-checked the given address. Faisean, 128 King's Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 4TR was written on the paper and the  location was now set in my GPS.

It was quite popular and I think I had heard about it from somewhere, but I didn't dwell on it much as I skidded to a stop just before I crashed into Vincent's waiting BMW.

His eyes bulged out but quickly composed himself, a small smile -wait, smile? - playing on his lips. I took my phone my purse and stepped outside, in the somewhat chilly air of the London evening. It had took only a minute to reach our destination but it seemed it had already become evening.

He strode towards me with his long legs and leaned in. My breath caught for a moment, but I let it go as I heard him whisper.

"Let me hold you and just so you know, this is sister's fashion store."

I frowned, leaning back so I could look into his eyes, also excluding the 'hold you' part, "Your sister?"

"Yes, she wanted to see 'my girlfriend',"  He made air quotes, a soft smile on his lips, "and her name is Jayden. Jayden Phillips-Evans."

I blinked a few times, absorbing the new information and nodded. As soon as my head cleared, thanks to Vincent, it fogged again pretty quickly.

His hand snaked around my waist and pulled me close to the side. I gulped, not blushing but the heat surging through my body from him, was comforting. I didn't believe in cliche moments, or rather made myself believe over these years, but as soon as we moulded together, our eyes met and I was sure, my eyes mirrored his.

Eyes full of want and desire.

But there was another emotion in his grey eyes, I wasn't quite sure of. Was it control, admiration, or love?

And there, I knew, I was probably imagining.

I looked away, intentionally separating myself a little for him. The heat was comfortable but I didn't want to find any solace in that. Or rather, I didn't want to depend, or stalk. But as we walked in, our distance again became inseparable.

The store was sparkling white but it wasn't exactly uncanny to the eyes, in fact it was beautiful. The furnishing was minimum, proper and expensive I could tell. Several dresses in variant bright and light colors were hung around. Even the mannequins looked real as the expensive dresses adored their bodies.

The various types of dresses ranged from long gowns, evening gowns, floral printed dresses, casual expensive wear to designer suits, party wears and even lingerie and corsets. What was more elegant that the shoes were all lined up beside every hanging dress.

It was simply amazing.

My eyes moved to the back direction of the store as the clicking sound of the heels against the wood came closer. There arrived a lady - a girl, perhaps - in a baby blue designer formal business suit with a black shirt underneath it.

Maybe in this posh fashion store, I had expected any woman to wear a dress upto her knees but I had to admit that the baby blue formal pants were looking much elegant.

My eyes moved to her face and I frowned, there wasn't that much of a resemblance to Vincent, as I expected. Maybe, she was the assistant.

But she smiled - a lot like Vincent - and took long graceful strides towards us.

Before I could even react, or think why there wasn't any resemblance, I was engulfed in a tight hug. I stiffened for a moment as her, Jayden's arms wrapped around me, but the hug was so warm, I couldn't help but melt in them.

I think, that she instantly realized she didn't introduced herself, she released me and extended her hand, with an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself," She shrugged, "I am the owner of Faisean and Vincent's sister, Jayden Phillips-Evans."

I took her hand and smiled, genuinely, "I am Amara Ronaldi, the CEO of Chiara Designs and umm-" I hesitated but continued, "- your brother, I mean, Vincent's girlfriend."

She didn't mind my stuttering though cause she looked ecstatic,

"Finally," She clapped her hands together, "I thought he was bluffing, I mean you are the only one he ever brought to us. And as usual, we thought he was gay."

First one? I peeked a glance at him and was surprised to find him shaking his head and laughing. He was beautiful in every aspect but like this, carefree and relaxed, was the first time I ever saw him which made my nerves directed in a different sensation.

A sensation I had felt numerous of times. And I ignored this time.

Jayden put her arms around my shoulder, as if we were the best of friends and I didn't mind. She directed me to a set of dresses on one of the chairs, I think especially sorted just for me.

"Go on!", She clapped her hands again, her smile never faltering, "And Amara, call me Jade."

I smiled, a true and calm smile, "Call me Amy, Jade."

She beamed at me, her dimples at display. She winked at me, shot a glare at her brother to show he wasn't allowed and dragged me to the trial rooms.

"I'm so happy that my brother's girlfriend is also a fashion designer." She chuckled.

Moving towards the sorted dresses on the chair, she took a heap and thrust some of them on me. I watched her carefully as she strode around the room, and searched for something.

Jade had green eyes, with blond hair and was petite but her heels made up for that. She looked completely different from Vincent yet they were still somehow same. The optimism between these two were same and yet I felt there was something hidden.

Unable to contain my curiosity, I asked Jade as she strode towards me with three shoe boxes and three lingerie.

"Are you and Vincent related?" I put my hands up, "I mean, I don't want to pry but are you both friends to sister types?"

She laughed, giving a push with the shoeboxes and lingerie in her hands, "No, he's my step brother."

I blinked. It made sense but I guess, there was some history to this family, "Really?"

She nodded but didn't push further, "I would've explained but these dresses will take a lot of time, so, let's start!"

She took the dresses from my hands, and handed me a single one to start from.

The trial room was quite spacious with bright lights. What took my breath was the fact that three walls were covered in glass and the other wall was bare with a portrait wall painting. I remembered why I was here, and started to change.

The dress in my hand was a sleeveless, yellow V-neck gown with ruffled panels. It was quite long with a long slit upto my thighs. The gown was beautiful had hugged my curves, except one thing. It was too bright, but I didn't mind that much.

I came out of the trial room and saw Jade smiling, ear-to-ear. Vincent stared at me and gulped. His Adams apple bobbled up and down as he gulped continuously.

I guess I looked good.

"Next!" Jade instructed as she thrust a dress even before I could comprehend, and pushed me in the trial room.

This time it was a emerald green Jacqueline satin dress. It was even more beautiful because, well, it was comfortable as it was short. And it hugged my curves, the way I wanted.

This time, I expected Jade to be standing once again, but I blinked a few times to check if I was seeing the right thing.

Vincent was on the phone, speaking to a client perhaps, but as soon as his grey eyes scanned my body, he bid a quick goodbye to the caller, threw away his phone and again pushed me in the trial room, quite aggressively.

With him in it.

We stared at each other for a moment. The atmosphere felt charged and the spacious room suddenly felt small. I knew that I felt an attraction - with bad consequences - towards Vincent but today the dilated pupils of his grey eyes told me quite a story.

The seconds seemed like minutes. I gulped quite a few times, while his eyes scanned my whole body. If only his eyes was making me hot, I didn't even need to think what his mouth and body would do if they were pressed against mine.

And believe me, I didn't really get the time to think.

Vincent circled me like a predator and soon as my back turned the bare wall, the door, he pushed me roughly against it.

The kiss was aggressive and passionate at the same time. His lips were definitely the best I've ever tasted. They were rough and dominant against my lips, just I way I liked it. Our tongues fought each other to explore each other's sweetness.

We don't know who won though.

I wanted to touch him, but his hands were pressed against mine holding them over my head. His body was pressed against mine tightly and his dick was considerably hard. The heat from his mouth and his body surged through me like molten lava.

My pussy clenched as my mind savored his kiss and thought of fucking him at the same time.

He looked with his intense eyes at me for a moment, while we both breathed rapidly. He smirked at me as, this time, he pulled me towards him. His hands moved to my waist and my nape, while he deepened the kiss more than ever. My hands roamed around his back and because my mind was extremely foggy, they now went to his broad shoulders and then to his hair. His hands moved to my hardened nipples, softly tweaking it from the soft fabric of the dress. And I pulled his hair, almost like a reflex action.

But quickly as it began to go at its highest level, it soon came tumbling down.

"Amy? Are you done?" Shit. Shit. Fuck.
