Tulip Jones was only sixteen when her life was changed forever. Had someone told her that her birthday was going to turn out this way she would have never gone to that party. She had been planning it for weeks and was so excited to have her sixteenth birthday party at the large mansion up the street. Her parents had rented it out just for her party.

Tulip was happily waiting for the guests to arrive as she stood in the middle of the large room. Minutes passed, then hours. No one came. She didn't understand why even her parents hadn't shown up. Then she stepped outside the big doors to the mansion and saw... nothing there was nothing but a black void past the doors! She didn't understand how this could happen!

She ran back inside and pulled out her phone desperately trying to call someone but there was no signal! How was this even possible? She knew something was wrong here. After calming herself down she walked over to a large door that she thought led to the kitchen but it didn't.

Through the door she saw a large field and a girl who looked.. so similar to her. The same long brown hair that stopped just before her hips. The same dark green eyes and soft face. Tulip gasped and stared at the girl not understanding what was happening. The girl seemed to be wearing some kind of leather armor with a set of daggers strapped to her hips. this was impossible.

Tulip made her biggest mistake that day. She stepped through the door. That was when her life as Tulip Jones ended, and her new life as Jane Ross began.
