"That's absurd ability. However, it seems quite effective for humans also." Loki said.
"To be honest, it's pretty much good for both humans and animals. It's just an observation.
" Well, what're those."
Loki seemed confused seeing the way the hunter was looking. dirt was lifted from the ground and made a shape just like graves. It so around thirty to fifty. Loki has an undefined ability to gasp the counts. He counted all of it within a few seconds. He wound the counting competition in his middle school.
"Thirty-four."
"Yeah, it's the graves of the villagers. They died from a disease. It was contagious." Loki saw the sorrowful look on his face. It was an interesting expression as Loki never saw him without smiling.
"They died at the same time?"
"No, it delayed."
"No cure I guess."
He nodded. "They were like a family to me."
"Why didn't you get affected by it."
The only reply to Loki's question he did was,
"Who knows."
Loki's mind got suspicious of him again. He wasn't giving him a straight answer he twisted it a bit.
"Maybe Luck favored me." He made his usual smile and looked towards the horizon. The sky was beaming with a bright sun. There's hardly any cloud.
"What do you would If I told you that I killed someone? Would you forgive me?"
"That came out unexpectedly, The possibility rather is slim. It depends on the situation."
"I see."
"What would you do If I see you killing that 'Someone'?" Loki tested him with an exciting look.
"You would definitely get killed----"
"huh?" Loki's expression stiffened as he saw the hunter saying gruesome things without falling his smile.
"By that Wild Boar."
Loki turned his body to see he was pranked or something. It was indeed a wild boar. Not a small one. It was huge. As big as a human. A single tackle of its could kill any human. Not to mention Loki's skinny body which is hardly be trained. Even though all those journeys made his body slightly macular but that isn't enough to fight with a boar. It was breathing heavily as the fallen leaves started floating in the air. The situation tensed.
"That's a big boy there. He must have taken quite a liking of you." The Hunter said with a big grin from ear to ear. This isn't time for smiling but he did nevertheless. The unusual tone of Loki's voice made him understood that he was feeling fear. Fear for life.
"D-Don't joke around." Loki avered his face from the boar to the hunter rapidly. It was to make sure he didn't get slammed by that boar and had a way to run.
"This is the perfect time to dump someone. Don't you think? If I needed to kill someone that saw me killing someone then I should have left the judgment to nature. "
Loki's plan backfired. He wanted to get something out of him but he failed miserably. At this point, he wasn't sure if the hunter was just playing with him or he's serious about it.
