Chapter 91 - Chapter: 91: Poison

Human life is valuable. It's because it didn't last for long. The King, the slave everyone fears to lose their life. When you die no one even bothers to remember you except your loving ones. You turned invisible to others.

"This cave rather big. I never you could camp in a cave-like this." Loki was astonished for a second. The cave was peculiar shaped. The entrance is not that big. It was small but could easily fit for man. One can go in and out without any problem. When you enter the cave, you could see big weirdly shaped rocks which kept the cave to its formation. Without those, the cave could easily collapse.

The hunter had organization the cave pretty well. He had his bed on one side with a small cabinet. Probably because of emergency needs. On the other hand, he had a working stove that wasn't turned one. The black ashes fallen from it made it clear that it was in use until a moment.

"I made some soup. Let me take it out. You can have some." The hunter was friendly offered Loki while opening the pot over the stove. It was red in color. You could see green vegetables floating in it. The liquid texture of the soup was not thick. The warm scents it's giving were rather good. It drove Loki with instinct.

"Well, if you say so." The Hunter poured some soap in a pot that was lying near. There was a bit of dust in it. As he saw that he quickly wiped it with his sleeve. He certainly maintains hygiene. In this forest, it's difficult to do that.

"Here." He handed the pot to Loki while keeping a bright smile. The smile was so bright that it brightened the dark cave.

Finding no other way Loki took the pot.

He didn't eat it right away. He was thinking about something.

The hunter took some for himself with another pot although it was a small one. When he glanced at Loki and saw him not taking bites.

"I didn't mix poison in it. Look I'm also eating it." The hunter took a slip to show confirmation. His behavior ensured Loki as he also took a slip.

On the other end of the cave was a dead end. It wasn't so deep. The darkness of night made it pretty hard to grasp the entire cave. As it was huge inside the things you could fit I did with it were also enormous. Many weapons were lying around like a crossbow, a small handgun, and at last the shotgun he recently placed. The ammunition could also be found. The huge pile of wood logs was composed one after one making it quite appealing to the eyes. Not to mention the tiger skin. It was on the small somewhat called bed. You can't possibly call it a bed as it doesn't have all the features of a bed. It's made out of logs that were cut in four by four dimensions. It was placed horizontally with a few ropes to make it stable.
