The hunter's serious face was enough to get Loki suspicious of him. The atmosphere tensed. Nobody moved a bit other than the wild animals who are bound to nature. Loki rested his index finger on the trigger and was preparing himself to pull it out. Time stopped when it needed to continue.
"Of course it doesn't exist." The hunter went stop. Loki stiffened as if his deduction was right. He thought that man an enemy from the very beginning.
Humans are selfish creatures. They never help others for pure kindness. There has to be some kind of utter motive and Loki knows it most.
"I told you it's a secret base. Not a house." saying that he turned the tables from intense to humorous in an instant. The dark aura that was coming from him disappeared in a blink. He grinned ear to ear making him the most innocent man on earth.
"You can't call it house. Call it my secret base." The hunter guy was on another level. He plainly twisted Loki's question that it would seem normal.
"Oh, then that's..." Loki went along.
"It's over that case. Can you see it?" Loki went ahead and tried to grasp something at a distance. Indeed there was a cave that was under the mountain. A Mountain in the middle of a jungle.
"That's surprising. I never expected a mountain here." Loki shook his head in admiration.
"Well, as you can see it's possible. Nature didn't go straight. It goes in its unique direction. No matter how much we try to understand it, we would able to fully understand it. You can also say it's absurd to even try yet people attempt."
"Are you also a lover of nature?"
"truly I'm. I think there lays a mystery behind it. Okay, let's went it." saying that The Hunter stepped forward, Loki followed him obediently. Loki still couldn't get doubtful of this guy. Who could he be? Why did he help us in the first place?
"You got that gun licensed?" without a delay Loki brought out a completely unrelated topic.
"yea' this bad boy is my favorite one. I have renewed it this year. It's working like a beast. It needs a man to shoot it. You wanna hold this?" The hunter proposed Loki.
"Why if I shoot you?" Loki was thinking what his answer would be.
"You would never do that."
"How can you be sure? You didn't even know me very well." Loki forced his words onto him.
"You're not someone who would shoot someone based on their appearance. will you?"
He was backfiring Loki's terms. Loki hesitated at first but then again he regained his confidence.
"Let's head inside. it's not good to wander out in this dark jungle. Who knows what could happen. If you got yourself killed that would be bad news."
Loki didn't say anything rather just nodded slightly.
The cave he was talking about was not that small. On the outside, it looked like a tiny hole in a mountain. However, things change when you enter it.
