Life goes by whether you didn't what it go or not. That's the nature of life. Even if you live in another world that's different than the one you lived in, you have to struggle your way up. The race of power wouldn't be over. Life goes by...
"I don't even know who summoned me and why." Max made a deep sigh with regret.
"Neither do I." Jack agreed with her.
"I only remembered someone calling my name desperately as if I'm her last option. When I got my consciousness later, I was fallen on the ground that was made of dirt. It was a totally distinct experience for me. In my world, the ground is made of sphinx stone. Everywhere you go, you wouldn't find dirt."
"Really?? That's cool. I wanna visit there."
"uh-ha(sigh) if only I knew how to go back there myself." Max turned right while laying on the soft bed.
"Don't be so upset. Look, I don't even remember my own world or whatever. I just left that go. Who would be happy to cling to their past? Jack did his best to comfort Max who seemed to be sobbing silently. Jack wasn't that idiot that he couldn't grasp that. He let her cry for goods. Sometimes people need to be alone, To understand their situation, to change their selves, to be strong, to save someone, to not to make the same mistake. Jack made a quiet 'hmm' and closed his eyes.
"Don't cry much, Crying would make your pretty face ugly," Jack murmured with his closed eyes. Max made a hike as she didn't think Jack would say that. In her mind, Jack is an idiotic character from Japanese TV shows. The character's only reason to exist was
to make people laugh. In short, a comedian.
Who would ever think that Jack would be someone to say such typical words of a protagonist?
The words may be short but it cares more weight.
"Jack!"
"What now, don't wake me up, I'm getting super sleepy. Was I that tired?"
"Jack! I'm also....feeling sleepy...."
"then...just sleep...." Jack stopped his mouth without completing the sentence.
A knock was heard but no one responds as they were both fallen into a deep sleep.
The door opened without making a hunch.
Although Max had locked the door tightly, it opened as if the person on the other side had keys to unlock.
"who's.....there?---" Jack murmured in sleep, "Huh? Maid?---"
"Didn't he fall asleep?" Spoke out maid number one.
"I did give sleeping pills on their food, there's no chance that he wouldn't be in sleep. "
Said Maid number two.
"You sure did?"
"I'm telling you the truth. Come on! we don't have time for chit-chat. Mr. Henry would be waiting for us. Get that guy, I'm talking the girl here." Maid number one ordered the second one.
They carried that one by one in their arms. They have great potential. The muscle power in them was intense. Until now, they should no sight of their powers. They hid it with their cute faces.
