The dazzling lights on the car made Jack's eyes bream with excitement. From the inside, one can see the true beauty of it. Those bright lights and arrangements were made specifically for the owner of the car. Jack and Max were seating in the seat of the old dude and his daughter. the seats inside the car were organized similar to the family gatherings table. Each of them facing each other. That's how the seats were categorized
"I'm Mr. Henry. Nice to meet with you." That old dude forwarded his hands to make a handshake with them. Both Jack and Max stared at his hand for a while. They were lost in their delusion. They were thinking who is this man? what did he do that made him so rich?
Finding it awkward, the dude was about to retrieve his hand. At that moment they regained their consciousness and hold the man's and tightly.
"I'm Jack. Nice to see you too."
"I'm Max, it's a pleasure to be with you."
Both greeted back with a wonderful wide grin that was unnatural.
"Oh! thanks." Finding it quite unusual, the old man melted his frozen self.
No one was making attempts to hold a conversation. So, the girl took the first try.
"When we reach home, I'm gonna show guys all my dresses and dolls. Papa brought me various types of Barbies. You would love to it, Max."
Max who wasn't paying attention was shocked as she was being dragged into the conversation. She made a pissed look for a split second and then made a fake smile to smooth things up. But somehow she failed miserably. This wasn't her type of thing. The cold selfish characteristics are Max's identity. This she wasn't used to smoothing talks.
Jack noticed it but he wasn't trying to help her until,
"Yeah...I also..L-Like no L-ov-e dolls and stuff."
Her voice was trembling. Even if she was trying her best to cope with the situation, she was worst in girly talks.
"Yeah, that's right, every girl likes dolls and dresses." The girl said cheerfully. She was embracing her father while holding a chat with Max. Max had to get along with it. Seeing Max in nervous made Jack chuckled slightly. But he quickly clenched his mouth with his hand.
"You're laughing right? I'm gonna see you when we arrive." Max muttered so that only Jack could hear. She was emitting a dangerous aura although that didn't stop Jack who was snickering.
The car stopped and the driver opened the door Swifty. Then he came next to the passenger door and unlocked it gently.
First the old dude and his daughter then Jack and Max left the car one by one.
In front of Jack was a big Mansion. It was so huge and elegant that it brought Jack's jaw fall.
"W-Where are we exactly? Did we teleported to havens?"
"This is a house if a rich man, dumbass. Get moving." Max slammed on Jack's head as he wasn't moving from his place. "This isn't time to be surprised.
