The trembling leafs from the lemon trees were making the mood chilly. The night was darker than black. The sky was cloudy thus no sign of stars. The bright moon was hiding behind the clouds today. It was as if he was too embarrassed to reveal himself towards the people of earth. The clouded sky was giving consistent warning that rain will fall anytime soon. The bizarre lightning was also giving the same yet different threats.
The angelic face of a sleeping beauty could be visible as her glamour was peeking out through Jack's Jacket.
"Geez... Giving piggyback? I did it without saying any words against it but sleeping on my back is too much. I'm not a person to do twice a favor to the same person. Look Max I have had enough."
Jack's unnecessary complaints kept going even after Max glared at him with deadly diggers. Nothing seems to upright his motto.
"You should quiet down a little. Just look at the girl she falls asleep listening to your babbling. She might felt really boring. Not just boring reaally boring." Max spoke out in despair.
Seeing Max giving no heed to him, he made an irritated face.
"Hump, I hope she got her hand fractured," Jack muttered as reasonably as possible.
"I have been wondering for a while, why we aren't taking any taxis or buses?" Jack thought logically.
"umm, because it's too night and we didn't see any around. More importantly, the bus station is far away from here and we passed one a while ago."
"Huh? We passed one? Why didn't you said anything then?" Jack stood still in wonder.his sudden stop provoked the girl's peaceful sleep.
"How would I tell you if you haven't given me a chance to speak?" Max crossed her arms and crunched her teeth.
"That might be my fault but isn't the girl's duty was to took us to her sugar daddies house?"
Jack moved on his anger that was boiling for a while now.
"Sugar daddy? Don't just insult my papa like that.." Out of nowhere, the girl joined the raging conversation. As she wasn't a part of the discussion, Both Max and Jack glared at her. Their faces were showing "When did she wake up? How much did she hear?"
"Ummm, I didn't hear your previous conversation. Just the sugar daddy part. I'm clearing again he's my real, real father." The girl crossed her arms in resentment.
Max and Jack made a deep sigh all at once. They couldn't just make her unhappy because she is the only one who could help them find Loki.
"Oh, give me your phone."
Max gave out her phone to her. She began typing something.
"What are you gonna with it?" Max asked.
"What? To make a phone call."
"Huh? I know that well but who? wait a minute, You remembered your father's phone number. You could just call her in the first place! and here I thought we have got to walk all the way to your home." Max was astounded by her,
"Why didn't you do that earlier?"
"Ummm let me guess, I just remembered the idea of calling, ek!" saying that she hit her head slightly and pulled out her tongue.
"You sure are an airhead."
The call finally reached its owner after a lot of beeps.
"Hello! Papa"
"'kay, Kay" She shook her head simultaneously even though it wasn't a video call that she would be seen by her father. Perhaps, it was out of her instinct. She hanged her call excitedly.
"Papa will be here any time."
Within a few minutes, a large car halted beside then and it was large like the neck of a giraffe. One can hardly grasp its length. The bright white lights decolorized the black car nearly.
"He's here."
A black-suited man, wearing black sunglasses, came out from the front. An ear headset was connected through his ear. His body was well built like some pro sports player. Then he walked all the way and stood in front of the back door of the large car.
He politely pulled the back door.
