"huh, the truck stopped?" Loki heard an engine stop. So, he moved slightly from his place. The old man came out of his truck and closed the door with a push. He was moving at a casual pace. He turned and came back from the truck. He had a hard time opening the back of the truck as it was rusty. He was afraid for this very moment. The man attempted to move out of the coffin. Though he was trying to move it, he couldn't even stride it barely.
"Huh? why it is so heavy? It was supposed to be light as it was empty inside." mattered the man.
He stopped struggling and proceeded to open the coffin.
"Oh, hello," Loki said cheekily.
Seeing Loki in the coffin, the old man steps back several times.
"Who are you?" As Loki was expecting such a question, he answered it quicker than normal.
"I'm Loki, A high school student, nice to meet you."
The old man seems reasonably surprised but here loki thought he showed have a heart attack and would fall on the ground moreover that "Who are you?" sentence would be his last word. Smashing his imagination the old man said,
"nice...to-o....meet..you," said the old man shattering a few times. "Where are you in this coffin? Did you hide here?"
"Wait, wait, one question at once. I also don't know why I'm here. The last thing I remember was a weird-looking guy best me so much that I knocked out."
"I can see you're wounded. Come with me."
The old man gently took Loki's hand and made him follow the old man. "Do you remember your home address of a number of your mom or dad?"
"If only there were alive," Loki replied in a somewhat sorrowful way.
Then again the old man brushed off the topic saying, "okay, I understood."
He unlocked his door house. The house was built with wooden planks. Not that it looks super gorgeous but it was kinda decent. The realistic flower trees covering all around the house gave it an artistic feel. Not only that but also the balcony on the second floor was slightly pulled out, making it look really unique. As it was a two-storied house, it was well decorated with large trees in the backyard.
Loki was following that old man accordingly.
After entering his house, he offered Loki a seat on the sofa as Loki was only glazing the glamorous interior. While looking at the huge amount of books stacks up in the bookshelves neatly, he sat down on the couch.
For a few minutes, he only looked around trying to get plenty of mesmerizing views.
He didn't even realize when the old man left him and upstairs. He then again came back within ten minutes.
On his one hand, a first aid box was throbbing as he was reaching Loki. For a normal person, it would take only a few seconds to come from that distance but for the old man, it took a whole minute. Loki understood the situation so quickly went onward to hold the first aid box as the old man quite struggling with it.
But when Loki was reaching his hand saying,
"Give it to me."
"No...It's okay. I'm fine. You...take...seat."
Then again Loki backed off and sat on the couch.
