"Wait!"
Loki crossed his hands in front of him, blocking his view. But with great surprise, he didn't feel any pain. He opened his closed eyes in wonder. In front of him was Jack, holding his flaming sword. When John pulled the trigger of the gun, Jack stood in front of Loki and made the bullet melt with his flaming sword.
"I suppose you're okay," said Jack with a huge grin. He came at the right time.
"Fine, You could have come earlier. I would be dead by now if you were a bit late."
"But you were not right?"
"I can't win this pointless argument. So, I retreat." Loki let out.
"Where are you running? Mr. Betrayer. You even killed your own family." smuggled Jack.
"I didn't do it. It wasn't my fault," replied John with a grudge some face.
"The truth wouldn't change even if not feel guilty." Jack said, "The more you decline about it, the more you would drive into the guilty."
"I'm not guilty. I'm not guilty." He was walking backward. The behind of his was a cliff.
"Hey! Look behind," Jack yelled but he didn't respond. He was only mumbling. "It wasn't my fault." Maybe deep inside he felt that it was his mistake. Because of his doing, countless people had to die. They were miserably slaughtered. John didn't stop walking backward.
If he falls from the cliff, he would definitely be dead. Nothing could save him.
"Hey! Look behind" Jack again yelled but the words didn't get to him this time.
He was one step further to fall.
He lifted his foot and tried to put it further back but there was nothing but air.
"huh!" He glanced back, without a hitch, his facial expressions changed to terror.
He falls down smoothly like a free bird. For the last time, he looked at Jack and Loki, Smiled. It was like he was now truly free. He gained his freedom he was searching for ages. The freedom he thought by leaving his hometown was a lie. The real freedom can't be achieved by a lie. The true significance can only be fulfilled by yourself.
Loki and Jack rushed to the cliff and saw the body of John down there, laying, blood was flooded out of his body. A grin was on his face.
"Will it be right to leave him here?" Loki asked Jack who was also sad because of his death.
"...Probably not..."
"I didn't understand who was making him do such things?" Loki made an exaggerated sigh.
"Let's go down there. We might find something if we search his body."
"Right."
They went down the mountain where John's body was fallen.
"He helped us a lot."
"Hmm, Even I can't deny that. He was a helpful person indeed. If it wasn't for him, we won't be here."
"Where's the body?" Jack became astounded to see John's body missing.
There was a cell phone fallen on the ground. Probably, it's John's. Though his body was missing, his cell was found.
Loki picked up the phone. 33 missed calls from Father.
"Father?"
