The night went by like a wavering fire.
Loki woke up while having laziness. The sun was playing hide and seek. The sky was clouded. Maybe a storm was rising. A huge one. After getting ready Loki tried to wake up Jack.
"Hey! wake up! Man, why's every time I have to arise him?."
Jack didn't show any sign of life.
"Are you dead? oh--h what a weird question? I'm asking a dead person why he is dead?"
Hearing such noise saliva couldn't but came to Loki's room.
"What's wrong?"
Saliva asked Loki with a worried expression.
"Nah, It's not that big of a deal. Jack might be dead. He is giving no answer to my question."
"How can you say something like that? Wait I'm doing something."
Without properly finishing her words she left the room swiftly. Perhaps she had a great plan. In a few minutes, she came back with a bowl of water. It must be cold. Without saying anything she splashed the water on Jack's face. Jack stood up as soon as the water touched his face.
"We are under attack Loki. Run for your life!"
Loki made a smug face.
"Yes, we are under attack by none other than Saliva."
A moment of silence for Jack.
Loki decided that they were not going home. They will be going to their next destination for the boss fight. Jack also agreed with him. By plan, they were departing from the treehouse. They already told saliva and the old man about their leave. They didn't stop them. After all, stopping them will not be that helpful. Loki wouldn't listen to anyone. The rage in him wanted to kill his father's murderer more than his life. But not so soon, His power level was still lacking. He wanted to be strong. Though a normal human can't be as powerful as the summoned being.
The treehouse was in the center of the forest. Two roads linked up on the treehouse. One was to the city road and another was to deep into the forest. Loki's one was to the city road. When the old man helped him, he took him from the forest road. The boss fight was held on the mountain near the forest. As they were leaving, a storm arose. It started to rain cats and dogs. A person was coming towards them from the forest road. The black coat he was wearing was crammed with blood. It might be dry a minute ago but due to the rain, it became more lively. Loki's focus was held by the Scattered blood on his coat. With a sudden depth, he said,
"You guys are sooooo annoying. For chasing after you folks I had to eradicate all the animals of the forest."
The old man was astonished.
"What? You killed all the animals!"
It didn't take any longer for Loki to figure out that it was Robert. The one was desperate to kill them. His father's murderer. But it wasn't the right time to fight him. Jack's body hadn't recovered yet. He was limping.
Loki couldn't figure out what to do. He wasn't expecting him to found them so quickly.
Will they fight him again with their wit's end? Or run away like last time?
