Chapter 4 - Chapter Four

"Your score for the entrance exam determines whether or not you are fit to become heroes. So if you are that desperate to become a Pro, then you need to train as hard as you can next month before you even consider charging into UA. Many students mistake themselves for already being a UA student as soon as they start that exam. Let me clarify, you are not a student unless you receive a letter from the school stating that you have been accepted.

" Don't get your feelings hurt if don't..." A monotone voice echoed throughout the gym. His voice slowly fading out as I starting to lose interest in what he had to say.

The guy that was giving us this announcement was about 5"4' with bags under his eyes and black shaggy hair. He was wearing a suit just like All Might, who was standing next to him smiling at the crowd.

"Booooring," Tosha whispered in my ear. I smiled and nodded. Keeping my eyes ahead of me so I don't get called out. For some reason, the teachers loved calling me out for little things that every other student does right in front of them.

"I feel ya, Tosha. This dude has been flapping his gums for only 35 minutes and it already seems boring," Eddie, a transfer student from Ireland whispered from behind us.

"All Might hasn't even talked once to us," Kale said, a bit annoyed.

The rest of our group nodded and a few turned to me. I kept my eyes on the guy and whispered, "Don't worry, I'm sure All Might will spice it up with an inspiring speech."

Besides having Tosha as best friends, we also had other friends that we loved hanging out and train with.

Like I said before Eddie Bryne was a transfer student from Ireland. His parents pretty much left him here in Japan three years ago, so he lives on his own. He says that once he gets his Professional Heroes license, he's moving to the States since there seem to be a lot more crime rates over there.

His glossy black hair spikes up in the front and dies down in the middle. The sides and back of his head is a faded cut. His eyes are a silver color, and twinkle whenever he is truly happy. His skin always reminds me of a cup of coffee with too much vanilla creme in it.

Kale Ito on the other hand is like me, he was born here in Japan. His hair is more of a skater boy cut and is a golden blond. His bangs always get to me, since they often get in his face. His eyes are rich chocolate brown. And his skin looks like he bakes in the sun a lot. I can easily tell by how his tan has a nice glow to it.

His mother came from America and his father lived in Japan his whole life. They wanted Kale to become a doctor, but he knew he had more potential than that, and wanted to become a hero.

How we met those two knuckleheads is still a complete mystery.

Once the tired guy left the stage, All Might made his way to the microphone. A sigh of relief came from everyone, and it echoed across the gym.

And as predicted, All Might made an inspirational speech. But I wasn't paying attention to it. Because something else caught my eye. Even before the Number One Hero began.

Something told me to look up at the ceiling window that was right above All Might. And I instantly regretted it.

There was someone at the window pointing a gun at All Might. And after a few seconds, the person holding the weapon noticed me, and we locked eyes.

My eyes widened as I realized I have to think up something quick.
