Next day both of them woke up early and went to the airport to pick up Lu Qian's parents. They waited for them at the VIP entrance of the airport.
When father Lu and mother Lu saw their daughter waiting for them at the gate with Zhao Mei they rushed towards her. Immediately after seeing them Lu Qian hugged her parents tightly while Zhao Mei took the luggage from them.
"Did you missed us princess?", asked father Lu dotingly.
"Yes dad. I missed both of you very much".
Father Lu smiled at his daughter's response. He turned to Zhao Mei. "And what about you Meimei?"
Zhao Mei smiled and hugged both of them. "Of course uncle I missed you and aunty very much".
"How have you been? I wished you could have come with us. I missed you very much Meimei" Mother Lu pouted and scrutinized Zhao Mei. She instantly noticed some changes in her.
"Meimei did you cut your hair?", asked mother Lu.
Zhao Mei nodded her as an answer. That was when father Lu noticed the short hairs. He looked at her approvingly. "You look more beautiful now". He complemented Zhao Mei.
Lu Qian felt left out as her parents were totally ignoring her existence. She looked at them with shock written on her face. "Mom, did you missed Meimei more than me?" She looked at mother Lu with her puppy eyes.
"Of course. She is such a hardworking girl and look at you always lazing around". Mother Lu shook her head as she sighed.
"Forget it just thinking about it makes my head hurt. Let's go home. I want to meet my best friend as soon as possible". Said mother Lu and started to walk towards the car hurriedly while dragging Zhao Mei and Lu Qian with her.
Father Lu shook his head at his wife's behaviour and followed them towards the car.
Zhao Mei drived the car back to home. When mother Lu alighted from the car she rushed inside to meet mother Zhao. Lu couple and Zhao couple have been friends since university time. And their daughters were also childhood friends due to the close relationship between them.
When mother Zhao saw mother Lu both of them hugged each other without waiting for anything else mother Zhao took mother Lu to sit on the sofa. As soon as they sat mother Lu started to tell mother Zhao about all the delicacies and clothes she has enjoyed on the business trip.
Hearing the commotion outside father Zhao came out of the kitchen. Looking at his best friend sitting on single sofa he went towards him and hugged father Lu. They all sat in the living room to chat. After a while mother Zhao went in the kitchen to prepare lunch.
Mother Lu wanted to help her. But mother Zhao refused her help as she might be tiered from the travelling. But mother Lu refused to listen to her and tagged along with her to the kitchen.
As both of them liked to cook soon the table was full of delicious food. When they were preparing food both men sat in the living room while chatting about some business. Even though father Zhao was a chef he was still from a influential family so he was aware of all the things in the business.
Lu Qian and Zhao Mei went upstairs to pack Lu Qian's clothes as they all were sent at Zhao Mei's house after shopping. All the clothes have arrived in the morning when they were out to pick up Lu Qian's parents.
Later all of them sat together at the dinning table and enjoyed the lunch while chatting happily. After lunch they sat for a while then Lu family returned to Lu villa with their daughter. While leaving they saw Lu Qian carrying two big suitcases. Lu couple looked at her questioningly. She scratched her head in embarrassment and told them about their shopping spree.
Father Lu shook his head helplessly but none the less helped her to carry the bags downstairs. Then Zhao family's driver sent them to Lu villa.
