Chapter 5 - Wet Dreams=Best Dreams, Second Head and Only You

Chapter 4

He presses his body into mine, parting my legs with his thigh. My clit pulsates at the thought of grazing my pussy against it.

I lean in for a kiss but he pulls away. His hands softly grip my arms, ensuring I can't move any further.

"Kiss me!" I command, my voice breathy and filled with desire.

Nuzzling the crook of my neck, he lightly traces his tongue into the dip of my collarbone, trailing kisses up to my earlobe gently sucking. I try clenching my thighs in an attempt to relieve myself but he quickly pushes them apart, pressing his thigh against my unclothed pussy.

"Ohhhh...Fuuck." I whisper.

The pleasure shooting up and down my body rolls my eyes to the back of my head. He ceases the movement, holding me against him as my body goes slack.

"Hmm, Flora... I'm gonna do more than just kiss you." His husky voice sends shivers down my spine and straight to my clit. I feel his fingers slide up the inside of my thigh, his thumb presses my nub.

"Uhhh."

"Is this what you want?" His thumb vigorously rubs my clit.

"Yeeesss."

"What do you say?"

My legs turn into a puddle of jello as my body jerks.

"Pleaseeee. Don't stop, I'm cumming."

"I'M CUMMINGGGG."

"Flora." I feel a hand shake my shoulder. "Flora wake up, it's seven."

I groan, forcing my eyes open just as Asia pulls the blanket off the bed. She looks at the pillow between my legs then at me. "That must have been some dream."

Yep.

Wet dreams are the best dreams.

The elevator comes to a stop on the fifth floor, the doors sliding open to reveal an open plan office area. The terracotta brick walls lined with plants, the waterfall feature on the far back wall echoes a soothing sound throughout the office as the water crashes against itself.

My heels tap on the oak floor as I walk past tables of working employees to the set of four intern desks lined against one of the ceiling high windows.

"Can you believe Ezra got the job yesterday?" Jaxon, one of my fellow interns, asks me once I sit in my chair.

"Ugh god, don't remind me!" I roll my eyes. "I've been trying to forget since I found out."

He widens his eyes, holding his hands up in defence. "I can't say I'm not happy we don't have to work with him anymore."

Out of the corner of my eye, I see someone place a Jamba Juice beside my hand. I look to me right and find Sophie, another fellow intern.

"What are you guys talking about?" She sits in her seat, practically inhaling her juice within seconds.

Jaxon and I swivel our chairs in her direction. "Ezra"

"Did you hear they're giving him an office?" She gossips.

"Who's giving who an office?"

We silence ourselves, none of us volunteering the information to Asia.

"You were talking about Ezra weren't you?" She guesses, her eyebrows raised. "Don't stop because of me."

"Sophie was just telling us about Ezra getting an office of his own ." I explain

"Thanks for throwing me under the bus, Flora!"

"She would have found out sooner or later." Jaxon says.

"I couldn't care less about Ezra getting his own office." Asia states. "I've got better things to think about."

"You're not upset he got the job?" Sophie asks.

Asia shakes her head. "Sure I'm upset he got the job. I did all that work and got nothing in return, but everything happens for a reason."

Sophie and Jaxon stare at her as though she's grown a second head.

"And the reason is..." They both trail off.

Asia grins. "Flora and I are going for spots on the team that will be handpicked by the CEO of Dalliance Media."

"Oh my god! You act don't you?" Sophie asks. "You should give him an audition recording, he might cast you I a movie or tv show!"

"She does act but it's been a little more than six months since she's been to an audition." Asia explains to them. "But that's the plan. Hopefully, it works out this time."

"Why are you wanting a spot on the team?" Jaxon asks.

"I..uumm...I hoping I'll get to meet someone in the publishing industry." Asia replies, her cheeks tinged red.

Sophie faces her, leaning forward. "You write? What kind of books? Do you write erotica? I have a friend who writes erotica."

"Uh, yes I do write. I write ya contemporary. No, I don't write erotica. And good for your friend." She answers each question.

"Dalliance Media has a partnership with a publishing house don't they?" Jason inquires.

"Not a partnership, but they do have a specific publishing house they refer to when they want to do a book to screen adaptation." Asia responds. "At least that's what I've noticed."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that in the last two years they've really focused on doing book to movie or tv show adaptions. And that's great." Asia exclaims. "But I have noticed that more than ninety-five percent of the adaptions they've done thus far have all come from the same publisher."

Jaxon nods. "If you happen to meet someone from that particular publisher and they happen to like your book enough to publish it, it might do well enough to get an adaption."

"I'm only looking to get my book published. Whatever happens after that is just a bonus."

"You could just go to the pitching conference they have every four months." Sophie interjects.

Asia, Jaxon and I look at each other confused. I open the browser on my computer and start searching for any articles or blog posts mentioning a pitching conference at Dalliance Media.

"I heard through the grapevine that every few months Dalliance Media invites screenwriters, independent publishers and sometimes even self-published writers to a conference type thing where they can pitch their books or screenplays." Sophie continues.

"She's right," I say, reading through the article I found. "Self-published author Jane Everly, known for the steamy Only You series, announced to her one point three million Twitter followers that their wishes for the books to become a series of movies have been answered."

"Oh my god! I love those books." Sophie squeals.

"After being one of only five self-published authors invited to the Dalliance Media pitching conference this year, her Only You series has been chosen for one of six book to movie adaptions they will be releasing in the first half of twenty nineteen. Hopefully, our other wish will be answered and Isiah Colton will play Aiden in the films. Cross your fingers."

The date of the article tells me it was posted on the sixteenth of June twenty eighteen.

"Ugh, I honestly don't know why people think he should play Aiden in the films." Sophie grimaces. "He looks nothing like Isiah does and he can't act for shit."

"When you have a body like that you don't need to have talent." We stare at Jaxon as he stares at the image of Isiah Colten on my computer.

"Moving on from who that topic." I search for Dalliance Media pitching conference, clicking on the first result that shows up.

"Asia look, you can apply to be invited to the pitching conference." I turn the monitor to face her.

"I'm not a self-published author."

"But you could be..." Jaxon trails
