It was an amazing sight seeing the interaction between the president and the press.
Everyone around the globe was keen to keep both ears clear as they knew that if something were to be enforced in the US, then the whole world would feel it either directly or indirectly.
And it turned out that the state of emergency declared was also another way of shutting the borders to the outside world. Those that had flights in and out of America, had to cancel them and await for the time that the government would take off such restrictions.
Many were affected right away, like businessmen and politicians and also those that had free time for leisure.
The only option now to enter or leave the country was to have the highest level of clearance and only a handful could obtain those and only in special circumstances.
As the conference continued, Mark was already in communication with the several teams that always accompany the president wherever she goes.
