A wise man once said, that the combination of hatred and technology is the greatest danger threatening mankind.
As the government was so obsessed on catching Maxwell Butcher, they did abandon the thought that the people caught up in their mumble jumble were the ones that carried with them all the hatred and sorrow and that one day they would be able to stand up for themselves. They just did as any other powerful nation does.
Shoot first, ask questions later. And what would you ask a dead body.
Though the government knew of their actions, they still turned a blind eye and continued with their assault.
Since the first bullet to be shot in L.A in the wee hours of the day, the city was doomed to fall and burn in the ashes of their making. But within the same city, people started to rise up in small numbers and started singing praise songs. Who would have thought that even in a time of peril, there would be those brave enough to stand up and say no to their common foe.
It isn't that I support what the US government is doing, as it is very inhumane and at the same time, very, very bad. But what can we do? They are the government after all.
And so within the city that harboured over ten million people some arose and started to fight back.
It isn't only the good hearted and hardworking witties that lived in L.A, but there were those that did unscrupulous deeds just to survive and also some weirdos. The ones that would gut you down without a second thought down a dark alley.
There are people like those all over the world, or else mankind would already have been doomed since creation.
And on a few magnificent buildings that no one would dare set foot in, people with means and resources for a revolt rose up and started fighting back.
And there's nothing more dangerous than someone who wants to make the world a better place.
A neatly dressed elderly man with a Mexican accent was seen to be giving out firearms to his subodinates.
He was giving out only one type of firearm, but nobody should underestimate the power that it carried. The mighty IWI Tavor 21 with 40mm M203 grenade launcher was not your average joe.
The Mexican men had with them sinister faces as they headed out to battle.
And if one could have seen the elderly man clearly, one would have recognized him as one of the top ten in the blacklist of the most wanted men of all time. He was the drug lord famously known as Don Ajab.
...
It was close to midnight and the sounds of fighter jets and helicopters were yet to quieten down. On the contrary, it was like they have gone absolutely mad as they unleashed their all which made the cities surrounding Los Angeles to watch the scene from a far and were left speechless by the cruelty that they witnessed.
More and more buildings have been bombed to the ground with no possible survivors. The roads were in utter damage that cracks were seen where they were most sturdy.
The air was now thick as it was mixed with smoke and debris from all the demolished buildings. Coupled with the smell of gasoline from afar, it made the situation more dangerous than the flying missiles.
Now with so much destruction and misery, the power supply was the first to be cut as the city fell into complete chaos and darkness.
The people seeing this, were unable to see reason as they started to rise up and attack the soldiers that were blocking their exits.
Ta, ta, ta, ta!
Soon enough, warning shots were fired in the air to suppress and control the people but what the soldiers didn't expect was a retaliation.
Da, da, da, da!
The sounds now were constant as a fierce battle ensued between the soldiers and the residents of Los Angeles.
If it was only one part of the city that started to retaliate, then the soldiers wouldn't be so restless. But the fact that from the first warning shots that were fired, it was like they triggered something in the people's minds to make them act as one and shoot at every soldier that they see.
With over fifty buildings destroyed in only a couple of hours. The death toll now was over five hundred and climbing with each passing second. And now a city wide blackout had taken place.
It took place slowly as grid after grid just lost their power until all of L.A was in complete darkness. The people needed to be aggressive now as they knew what would happen next.
First the transportation network was in shambles as no one could drive or fly anymore. There are those who tried to escape using their luxurious yachts but were intercepted by either the Coast Guard or the Royal Navy. Then the continuous bombing sounds on buildings that people were taking up refuge on. Even if they didn't care at all, they would at least show concern. They just did as they pleased without even saying a word. Then the internet was down already, as in people's minds think alike.
'What would the government be concealing that we're are just someone's pawns to be struck down at any time?' And now the power was out.
Isn't this enough to assure the people of Los Angeles that there is no hope for a savior this time around and all they have to do was to take up that stone, that handgun that someone's keeps in his safe. Or even that pan that you sure of can knock someone out cold in just one attempt and try to save your soul?
And soon, the gas line would follow. Then after that it was probably the water line. And how could they live after that? With low rations and killing innocents so as to survive on the little that was left in the supermarkets.
They didn't absolutely want that to pass, so they picked up their weapons and choose to fight.
And so the sounds of a gunfight joined in and nobody knew who would emerge victorious as it was a fight for survival.

On the eastern hemisphere, a high altitude plane was traveling from an undisclosed location and was headed to Moi International Airport in Mombasa, Kenya.
The military grade Boeing C-17 Globemaster III was by the look of it, just ordinary. With only the mighty appearance that it carried, one would think that that's all it could do.
The C-17 was known to be one of the best military aircraft cargo carrier in the world. The US military use it to carry operators to overseas missions and also supply heavy cargo needed on the ground on different parts of the globe.
Inside the C-17, a crew of slightly more than ten was in a mission brief.
"That will be all for now. Get some sleep as we'll be arriving at our destination in a couple of hours." The C.O. said after finishing the brief.
"I thought we were needed at home?! I mean... that is why we left in a hurry." One of the operators said.
"Yes, we'll be heading home. But first we need someone with expertise in this field than any of us here." The Commanding Officer replied as he saw the tension that started to arise in his men.
"And who is this 'someone' that we have to collaborate with?" Another operator asked as he was anxious because he knew that just like him, everyone had families and friends that were in the US and they wanted to do their best so as try and protect them to their best.
"For that... it's confidential. If you'll excuse me I have reports to file to Washington DC." The C.O. answered as he retreated to the other group of technicians that were settled in the other side of the plane.
"Confidential my foot." One of the operators said as he clenched his fists ready to punch anyone.
When he found that nothing was suitable for punching as it was all metallic, he turned to the pallets at the centre and broke one with his leg.
Bang!
Crack!
The pellet gave in and broke scattering the contents that it carried for all to see. His brothers-in-arms saw his reaction and understood what he was going through.
His wife had left for L.A. last week from Columbus in Ohio. She was visiting her mother as she grew lonely staying with two kids in a big apartment building all by yourself.
So rather than drowning in her misery and loneliness, she decided to head over Los Angeles and stay with her mother for sometime until her husband comes back home from his deployment.
The fear that the operator had was one that was understandable as his teammates came over to console him.
"We both have war inside us. Sometimes it keeps us alive. Sometimes it threatens to destroy us." The leader tried to make him see reason before adding.
"Upon touch down, I'll need you to watch my back brother as I watch yours. But for now, I need you to conserve your strength and pray for the better."
