I took a moment to gather my thoughts, my mind racing with a mixture of curiosity, apprehension, and determination. The sight before us was both awe-inspiring and unsettling—an intricate network of machinery, mysterious equipment, and the enigmatic glass containers housing suspended figures. It was clear that we had stumbled upon something far more profound and complex than we had initially anticipated.
Before we could process anything further, I caught two shadows from the far end coming from the opposite direction. I run to the nearest equipment as Masal followed closely.
"Nothing comes easy, huh!" Masal sighed as a barrage of bullets struck where we were sending sparks all over the place. "You take the left I'll take the right."
I waited until I was sure the enemy had crouched back for cover before I pulled the trigger on his location.
