"Can I have this little baby?" Kai asked after sometime. She came and sat beside me as she watched the long broadsword on her lap.
"You can have your own babies once you find a dependable guy." I answered before a soft punch landed on my shoulder.
It was soft but made my hand go numb. She looked at my expression before she laughed out loud.
"You want to tease me again?" She asked.
Over the past couple of months of being in close contact, Kai had always wanted to even hold the soul weapon but couldn't. She had asked countless times but there was only one answer for her. A firm "no."
"No, but you can't have it. By the way, you have an arsenal of good weapons with you."
"Okay." She removed one of her numerous rings from a finger and placed it on my palm before closing it with a bright smile. "You are sensible enough for someone your age. It's my pleasure to doing business with you."
