In less that ten minutes, we could see a few figures emerging from the other end of the long hallway. They had grim faces and seemed to be on a tight spot.
With a few flashes of her hand, Lilith threw several smoke grenades that soon filled the hallway with thick smoke. I could see the changes in their expressions just before the thick smoke put a screen between us. In those few seconds, anyone could guess what run through their minds.
While we waited for them to emerge, we were constantly communicating with the other team members who were still inside the facility. We wanted almost everyone alive so they turned to disabling them rather than finishing them off.
Soon enough, a loud voice rang through the compound. I looked around to see Raven holding a transreceiver while barking out a few orders.
"You are surrounded. Walk out with your hands raised. Surrender or resist, the choice is yours."
