I felt my hands go numb. Then the cracking sounds rang all over the place.
My eyes went wide when I witnessed that my swords were breaking. By the force and trajectory, it would leave Aya in two pieces.
Yet, when I looked down I saw the state she was in. Though she was healing her appearance at a visible rate, she seemed not interested in what was going on as she just stared back at me.
Using my foot, I kicked Aya by the ribs as hard as I could.
With a pained expression, she winced before she rolled a few times only a few feet away from us.
Bam!
A golden shockwave erupted that threatened to toss me into the air. As the two swords started to regenerate, I threw them away as I knew that they couldn't withstand whatever material Fortuna's golden sword was forged out of.
