Not even a week after being told that she had to go to school again, she was on a spaceship and on her way to Planet F. Technically being a minor still, once again because of the late rut, Fiona had to have a temporary guardian on Planet F. Her father's business was far too busy for him to leave with the new release of Days Ago.
It left her with a temporary guardian, a loyal 'brother' of Peter's while she is going to school. Her name was Élise, a beautiful woman and Alpha, she was on the shorter side. "Be careful," the woman told her, before ordering a couple of robots to grab her bags.
The only problem was she handled Fiona with kiddy gloves. When she was far from being a helpless child, it irritated her like the sound of metal hangers getting pushing down a clothing rack. Cringey and painful, she opted to just ignoring her and waiting to get dropped off at the housing dorms for disabled students.
Looking at the view of Kite city from Élise's private V-aircraft, she took a photo before posting it online. [A cityline filled with tall buildings, darkening orange sky, faint outline of Fiona in the window.]
CluelessLazyFan• Hello, Kite City! My new home for the next four years! #SchoolComingForMe #ExcitedYetSadAndHungry
Too busy talking with various people on PostBoard and Notify, she didn't notice how they weren't heading for the dorms. When she saw a large statue of a child dressed in a spacesuit while flying a box kite, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
She had looked at a holographic map when she was in the spacecraft, getting a feel of the city. This statue should be facing towards her dorms.
The reason why this giant city had a name like Kite was because this Planet wasn't even on the list of getting claimed. Until a Passenger Spacecraft had crash landed on it back in the early 3700s, almost three thousand years ago. None of their communications were working nor was their distress signals. It took their government at the time, Xan, over five months to find them but the ship was buried in trees and vines, hiding them from view.
The next part got cloudy, but in every ending, a child climbs the tallest tree with their large colorful kite and flies it, drawing the search crews attention. She took a photo, before turning to the woman. "What are we doing? Isn't the dorms in the other direction?" She asked, not really worried.
"You were scheduled to move in a week, but your spacecraft had arrived earlier than we had planned." She answered, flicking though her brace. "I had booked you a hotel and a pod will get you tommorow at noon, so we can get you anything that you may need."
Fiona nodded, before going back to taking photos. Kite City was beautiful, it reminded her of Seattle which was the biggest city she had been to in her last life. With its large buildings, the busy highways and crowds of people on the streets, she felt like she could pretend it was still 2020s.
When they got to the hotel, she didn't know what exactly was wrong with it until she got inside of the hotel. It was empty. No one besides the workers were there. She tugged her suitcase with her, looking around as Élise dealt with the worker, talking fast in another language that was like French, but they didn't have that accent. It was odd.
Some part of her knows it's because the original was a lover of languages and was considered a genius in languages, but it didn't still stop her feeling like she took a sideways step into another universe. Because she could understand them, but she also knew that it definitely didn't sound the same as the French in her last life.
"Alright, thank you," Élise grabbed a key, the front worker kept looking back at her. Fiona faintly felt that they were scared of her. She followed Élise, going to the elevator. "No one should bother you, you can invite anyone to stay over for the week. You aren't allowed to have anyone on your floor, if we find anyone in it, you will go stay at our place."
"Okay, no problem," she nodded her head. Her nose wrinkling for a moment. Stay at another house was horrible, their smells lingers on everything and makes everything uncomfortable. Hotels always airs out every room and cleans so no smell stays, bad for business not to do so.
"Wait a minute! Did you rent the hotel? Like all of it?!"

Fiona didn't stay long, leaving the hotel to explore the city open for her picking. If a store was open, she went in, if a stall was up, she stopped. Taking photos of this and that, posting them up with a timer.
Her new followers were having a blast of telling her what to visit and where the best cheap restaurants were. She had a bottomless stomach and a wallet to match. She was sad to notice at how lacking the street art was. She used to go to town on the bus to just look for new art. The fact that the streets were missing it was disappointing.
Until she stumbled over a street filled with people, all of them looking like they belong in 2020s. Their clothes were colorful and filled with life, the food was greasy and looked like it bursting with flavor. She pulled up her mask and ran into the street. Her bracelet clicking faster than her eyes can blink.
The people also had a bracelet, but it was bigger, like a forearm guard. She didn't notice this was the 'hood', filled with poor people and the lowlifes. She felt at home with the bright colors and disorganized streets. It took a hour of shopping and eating before she realized her phone was going off. Well, her bracelet.
She discovered that trying to eat a spicy chicken drumstick in one hand and scrolling through her page was impossible. She had to set it down and look through it, impatient.

She eventually finished off her food and continue to chat with Maximum and the others. Getting up, she left and two minutes later, a beautiful omega replaced her co-worker at the stall.
Juliette paused, breathing in a very faint smell of something she couldn't name. It was a relaxing smell, she could almost melt. In the end, she shook it off and took the order of the first custom of a long night.
