Chapter 5 - Chapter five - There Are Two?!

I wake up in another strange bed. But this time Michael is still here. He must have carried me in when we landed. Oh well.

I can feel the tropical breeze and hear the faint sound of waves crashing on the shore. But that comes to an abrupt halt when there is pounding coming from downstairs. I shake Michael awake in alarm. He checks his phone and can't help laugh at my fear.

"Its just my twin brother Chris. He left his key here so now he can't get in. I'll be back. Don't move."

I stay in my place,  remembering what happened the last time I was told not to move. Then suddenly Michael bursts through the door, throwing himself onto the bed. Then his clone runs in after him. I quickly cover myself, knowing that if I were seen looking indecent by another man I would pay for it.

"Kitten meet my twin brother Chris. Chris meet my soon to be wife Katie."

I wave shyly at Chris as Michael posessively wraps his arms around me. Chris waves back, averting his eyes to Michael.

"Mikey hurry up and change. We gotta get down to the beach man, prime surf hours."

Michael laughs. He turns to me and kisses my cheek.

"Go put on a bathing suit and meet me downstairs in 10 minutes."

With that he heads out. I walk to the closet to find a bathing suit. But to my dismay they are all skimpy bikinis. I look through the selection, finally deciding on a white one that won't put my entire ass on show.

I put it on and brush my hair out and head downstairs. When I get down there Michael is already in navy blue shorts and Chris is in black ones. They both look over my body. But my eyes are immediately averted to their legs. Their legs are spotted with tattoos. I'm about to marry one of them and I didn't even know that he has tattoos! I have got a lot to learn.

We spend all day on the beach. The boys rough house with one another in the water, but I mostly just lay on the beach working on my tan for the big day. That damn wedding is all that I can think about. But I need to keep it from happening. The question is how? I'm not even sure exactly what day it is. Hopefully it isn't too soon.

After our day on the beach Michael and I head back to his beach house and dinner is already prepared. I pick at my chicken and eat a few bites of my scalloped potatoes. But I'm not very hungry. I just want to shower and get to sleep. Being in the sun all day wore me out.

"Why aren't you eating kitten?"

"I guess I'm just not hungry."

"Well you need to eat. Yout body needs to be well nourished to carry my children."

I was speechless. The way he said that scared me a little. I'm not ready to have kids. Especially not his!

This man is a nightmare. I need to get away from him as soon as I can.

"Please excuse me."

I quickly get up from the table and walk quickly to the bedroom Michael and I share. How could he say something like that to me? I can not marry this man under any circumstances. I need to come up with a game plan.

About an hour or so later I've made a list of a few possible exit points. I place my notebook on the coffee table as I rest my head on the arm of the couch. I guess I'm more tired than I thought. Within minutes, I'm asleep.

**Michael's point of view**

I think I've given Katie enough space. I need her in my arms. I head upstairs, ready to apologize. I open the door softly.

"Listen kitten. I didn't mean--"

Of course she is already asleep. Oh well I have a few days to make it up to her. I take her in my arms, bridal style, a small notebook catching my eye as I step past the small round coffee table. I'll look at it after I get her to bed.

I set her down on the bed gently. I then help her out of her beach clothes, putting her in one of my tee shirts and a pair of spandex. I leave a few kisses and mark my territory along the way of course. Now back to see what secrets will be revealed in that journal about my little kitten...
