Ryu's POV
Demon landed in front of me and smiled. I blasted towards her and swung my sword at her but she blocked it and kneed my chest and elbowed my back.
I was pissed, seeing her reminded me of my mom and I couldn't hold in my rage. I screamed into the air and three lightning bolts hit me. I blasted towards her, destroying the path behind me and surprisingly I was fast enough to hit Demon in the stomach. She flew back but was able to land safely.
She smiled and cracked her neck. I ran towards her, lightning bolts behind me and she also ran to me so fast that I barely saw her but I was able to make out where she was. I ducked under her punch and did a spinning hook kick but she grabbed my leg and threw me up into the sky. I teleported using my lightning bolts and punched her from behind. But my arm went right through her and I felt arms wrap around my hip and I was lifted off the ground and my back slammed against the ground. The impact was so hard that the trees blew away, the ground trembled as if there was an earthquake and cracked into a bunch of pieces.
I got up but I was met with the air punching me and I was sent sliding on the ground creating a long ditch. She jumped up and crashed on top of me knocking the wind out of me, the wind picked up and the earth trembled. I grabbed her leg and electrocuted her but nothing happened.
"You improved." she said
She sat on my chest and began to rapid punch my face, I tried blocking it but she merely pinned my arm with her knee and continued. She then wrapped her fingers around my neck and she electrocuted me. It stung a lot but I grabbed her wrist with my free arm and screamed, blowing her up as a surge of lightning bolts erupted out of my body. I got up and blasted to her and began punching her and my attacks made some contact.
I punched her face and she was sent flying into multiple trees. I teleported behind her but the ground underneath me blew up and lava shot out. I moved out of the way but Demon came out of nowhere and there were other clones of herself.
'Oh shit.'
I began getting hit by the air so I slowed down time and looked around and saw a blurry figure.
'Gotcha.'
I blocked her punch and she looked surprised.
"I learn." I growled
"I see." she replied
I blew her away using my wind augmentation but she just teleported behind me and grabbed my heart.
"Not good enough though." she said
I screamed in pain as she squeezed my heart but then I remembered my mom, the last time I saw her on earth, the last time I saw her in hell. All of those thoughts about her started filling my mind with rage, my blood started boiling and I felt everything around start to become heavy and dark.
"What the-"
I looked up and I was creating some kind of small hurricane right on top of me. I felt a heavy throbbing in my chest as my heart was beating fast and Demon's fingers squeezed a bit. I ignored the pain but my breathing became rapid as time passed by. Multiple lightning bolts began to zap around me and Demon, hitting the ground and trees around me.
"What the hell are you-"
I screamed into the air letting out a huge blast of lightning bolts to go everywhere. It was like the same explosion when my mom died except bigger and worse. Demon was caught in the explosion but she put up her hand and forcefully used telekinesis to push the explosion away from her.
"Yes! This is the power I wanted you to show!" excitedly yelled Demon
That got me even more pissed that I began to control the weather entirely and I created multiple tornadoes. She blasted towards me faster than ever but I punched the ground and the lighting bolts came out of the ground and sent a shock wave throughout the ground. Demon jumped up and she drew her sword and she swung her sword in the air and it released a whole wave of fire.
I took a deep breath and blew at it and the fire dispersed but Demon ran up from behind she punched me away and she punched me so hard that I crashed straight through a mountain and another until I crashed onto a stream. I looked at the mountain but apparently it was already destroyed from my shock explosion.
I groaned in pain when I tried getting up but fell back down. I looked down and my armor was broken from all the beating and my face was also bleeding a bit.
"You got stronger." said Demon as she landed in front of me.
I crawled out of the stream and onto some sand but then I had an idea. Demon began approaching me and I waited until she got near the water.
"Made me actually use 45 percent of my strength, not my augmentation or powers but strength itself." she said, "This is getting fun for me."
Both of her feet were in the water so I lowered the temperature of the air near the water and it immediately froze and Demon couldn't move.
"You think-"
I blasted towards her and punched her face so hard she went through the same mountains I went through.
"Ryu!" I heard a voice behind me
I turned around and saw Lydia and Kishimoto were running up to me.
"Let's get out of here before-"
Something hit the three of us and we were all sent flying away.
"Now I'm pissed." I heard Demon's voice boom
I was constantly hit by something I couldn't see, I tried slowing down time but I couldn't get anything.
Fire erupted everywhere and the air started to become hot. I tried using my wind augmentation but nothing worked. It just kept getting hotter.
"If we let her completely take over earth prime we're done for." said Kishimoto
"I know that." I replied
I began to gather every molecule there was in the air and I began to create a tornado to cool the fire. But then Demon shot fire out of her hand and the tornado turned into a fire tornado. Kishimoto used the ground and clamped our feet to solid ground so that we don't get blown away or sucked into the tornado.
"Shit!" I cursed
Then Lydia placed her palms on the floor and multiple water streams exploded out of the ground. She splashed the water everywhere and it cooled everything down and then she froze everything right after.
I looked around and saw that the entire forest was destroyed and what's left of it was barren land, just dirt and rock, the mountains that once stood there were no longer there and the city that was above me had fallen onto the ground.
"Did we do that?" I asked
Lydia nodded and I collapsed onto my knees.
"Damn it! I can't take her down without using my full strength! What the fuck!" I cried
"Wait where is she?" asked Kishimoto
I looked around but I didn't see a single sign of her.
"She must of retreated." said Lydia
But then I heard a deep growl coming from the ground and I felt a faint trembling.
"What the hell is going on?" asked Kishimoto
I looked to the source of the noise and my eyes widened. In the distance, at least a mile away, I saw the ground levitate, just like the stomach levitates when we breathe. It kept going up and I saw pipes of smoke come out of the ground and then out came streams of red lava.
"We have to go." said Lydia
"The civilians in the city." I whispered
"They were already evacuated when Demon attacked, let's go!" she yelled
Then the ground exploded and a bright light blinded me so I covered my face. Once the light died down I looked and I gasped as there was a huge ball of fire, bigger than two nukes combined in the air. Flaming pieces of the ground began to fall from the sky like it was raining fire.
"Let's go!" yelled Lydia, "Kurt can't transport us!"
I looked at the city but I highly doubted there was no one there.
"Ryu let's go!" yelled Kishimoto
I ignored him and raised both of my arms into the sky and gathered the clouds on top of me.
"Ryu stop!" yelled Lydia
'I'm not having more people die because of me.'
I began to make the wind blow harder and harder and I screamed at the top of my lungs and released all the wind currents I was gathering. The blew so hard that the ground itself began to fall apart and fly towards the ball of fire. The wind then blew the ball of fire and the debris away from us and the city.
"Oh shit." whispered Kishimoto
I looked at my work and the ball of fire was gone, the debris all fell back to the ground, no more flaming pieces of the ground. But there was a huge hole about the size of a city with flowing hot lava leaking out. Even though it was a mile away, I could see the giant hole with the lava in it.
"Let's go now, you did well." said Lydia
But then I heard a loud roar and out of the hole came a giant hand. It pulled itself up and out came a monster that had a ram's head with horns but it was just a skeleton. It's body looked just like a regular human but scaly and it was on fire. It also had giant wings on its back and its legs looked like it was a cow's legs. It's eyes were burning and when it roared into the sky, fire was in its mouth but it didn't come out.
"I had enough of this shit." I sighed
I drew my sword and blasted towards him and in a second I was at its legs. I jumped up high into the air and he looked up at me and tried to grab me but I threw my sword at his head. I teleported right next to my sword so I caught it and raised it above my head.
I stabbed its forehead and I electrocuted it and three lightning bolts hit me. The monster roared into the sky in pain and stumbled back a bit. Then I saw the ground shoot out spikes, piercing the monster through the stomach.
I pulled out my sword and gathered lightning bolts onto my sword and I stabbed it again, killing it. It collapsed so I teleported next to Lydia and Kishimoto who both nodded at me.
"Let's go now." said Lydia
We both requested a pick up but no one responded.
"What's going on?" I asked
"I don't know? Is the guard in the transportation room supposed to be off?" asked Lydia
Kishimoto shrugged.
"Let's go get the pod from the city." I said
I grabbed Kishimoto and Lydia and slowed down time and ran to the city, well what was left of it. We got in the building where I was put in trial and got on the pod I was in. Lydia took the pilot seat and I sat behind her with Kishimoto next to me. We blasted off into space and headed towards the MVA orbital station.
I saw the orbital station and it was huge, I thought it would be a lot smaller but it was bigger than I thought. I don't think I was able to check the other places in the station. But then something exploded on top of the station and I gasped as I saw a couple bodies fly out into space.
"It's under attack!" yelled Kishimoto
Lydia quickly attached the pod to some kind of bridge and we exited the pod and entered the station, well what was left of it. There were bodies everywhere, all of them were dead, blood splatter the wall, some bodies were burned on fire and others looked like their life was sucked out. One was hyperbolizing and shaking, his eyes were rolled back and he was drooling. Alarms were blaring and the siren lights were red.
"Illusion, it must be Demon." I said
"No augmentations here Kishimoto, Ryu only use small augmentations." said Lydia
I nodded and drew my sword out as Kishimoto and Lydia pulled out theirs as well.
"Split up, whoever finds her first contact us. Do not engage alone." said Lydia
I ran through the halls that I was unfamiliar with but I just kept running around. I couldn't find her until I heard gunshots to my right, I ran through hallways and just as I was about to turn the corner I stopped as I heard some kind of groaning. I peeked around the corner and I saw Demon choking an MVA agent as he struggled to breathe, his legs kicking nothing but air.
"Let go." groaned the agent
"No thanks." replied Demon
I couldn't just stand and watch so I slowed down time, back kicked and pulled the agent away from her. She stumbled back and just dusted off the area I kicked her.
"Are you okay?" I asked
The agent nodded in response.
"Get in a pod and get out of here." I said
He nodded and frantically ran away as I got up and pointed my sword to her.
"You could have killed me." she said
"I rather kill you in a fair match." I growled
"In hand to hand combat? After all we're in a tight area, if you use augmentation you can blow up this entire station." she said
I knew that so I slowed down time and ran to her and started swinging my sword at her but she dodged every swing. She ducked down a bit and punched my stomach and I crashed into a wall. I began swinging my sword at her as fast as I could but she went in and punched my face.
"You can't beat me in hand to hand combat." she said
I swung my sword but she grabbed it and broke it and stabbed my stomach with the broken piece. I screamed in pain as she pinned me against the wall and pushed the blade in deeper. Blood began to slowly leak out of my mouth as she twisted the blade. She leaned in and licked the blood off of my chin and smiled.
"You're mine."
