Ryu's POV
I fell through darkness until I crashed into some kind of hallway. I got up and I was back in the MVA orbital station with just people walking around. But then I was about to bump into someone but the person just went right through me.
"What the hell."
"You're in an illusion." said a voice that came all around me
"Demon?" I called out
"Yes, this is a year before you joined the MVA." said Demon
I looked around and everything looked the same but then I noticed that I was standing in front of the door to my room. The door opened and out came me, but probably just another Ryu.
"This is the earth prime Ryu." said Demon
I decided to follow earth prime Ryu around and he met up with Kurt, Kishimoto and Lydia. But there was another girl there who looked like Demon.
"Is that you?" I asked
"Yes that was me." she replied
"You four have a mission, you must save an earth before it gets destroyed." said Kurt, "Earth 308-df, time would be August 12, 1415."
They left for the transporting pod and I then fell again but this time I was in an earth, on a cliff overlooking a burning earth.
"This is the earth they have to save?" I asked
"Yes." she replied
I looked down and at the bottom, there was a bunch of monsters, orcs and other things that I don't know. I saw a whole tsunami coming from my right and it swept the army of monsters away.
"Lydia?" I asked
"Yes, shut up and watch." said Demon
"Sorry." I apologized
Then I heard cheers behind me so when I turned around I noticed there were humans and other types of aliens and shit cheering in happiness. I then fell again and this time I was in a refugee camp filled with people. But then the people were fighting over the food, killing each other, biting each other, some of them were even eating each other.
"What the fuck."
I backed up and turned around but I saw Demon looking really pissed off with Lydia, Kishimoto and earth prime Ryu.
"These are the type of people we saved?" asked Demon
"Oi, we did our mission, let's go back to the station." said Kishimoto
"These people don't deserve sympathy." snapped Demon
"Demon we did what we were supposed to do, now they could figure out how to do their business by themselves." said Lydia
"We have a protocol to follow." growled Ryu
'This Ryu is the complete opposite of me.'
"I just can't believe I wasted my time on people like this." said Demon, "And it's not our first time being here, this isn't the first time they've done this."
"Let's go." said Ryu
"People like this don't deserve to live." said Demon
Everyone in the refugee camp was set ablaze by Demon's augmentation. After that the entire camp was engulfed into flames and the people in there screamed and cried for help.
"Demon you stepped out of line!" yelled Ryu
"If the MVA wants peace then they need to destroy everyone who can destroy that peace." snapped Demon
Ryu drew his sword and so did Demon and they clashed with each other, but I was now falling again and this time it was on some kind of mountain and earth prime Ryu was on his knees with Demon standing in front of him with her sword on his throat. This was my first time seeing her sword and it looked pretty cool. It was a red sword that was curved, with a guard, but the length of the sword and the handle was the same as mine.
"You'll pay." growled Ryu
"You know that saving these type of people isn't right." said Demon
"Doesn't matter." snapped Ryu
"You're stupid, what if they figure out about the MVA, what if they try to fuck it all up?" asked Demon
'She's right.'
"You're just being foolish now, we can always destroy them later." said Ryu
"Later? Later can cause a whole bunch of shit you might not know." said Demon
Demon jammed a needle into Ryu's neck, the same needle used for augmentation injections, she then injected the same needle into her neck. Demon then beheaded him and his head rolled down the side of the mountain as his body collapsed.
"That's why?" I asked
"He wasn't willing to go against protocol to save the multiverse." said Demon
I began falling and now I was back to my normal body, looking at Demon. The pain in my eyes began to fade and I gasped in shock.
"Now this is where you make your decision." said Demon
"What decision?" I asked
She slowly drew her sword from the hip and I started getting scared.
"Either join me, or we fight it out." said Demon
"There's really only one easy answer for this." I said
"And what's that?" she asked
"I'll join, only because I think that you're doing the right thing." I said
She puts her sword away and pats my head.
"I like you." she said while smiling
"Huh? Oh uhhh yea." I quickly looked away as my cheeks were feeling hot.
"You're different, more reasonable and understanding." said Demon
I just nodded and awkwardly smiled.
"Let's go to my hideout." said Demon
She helped me up and the black mist reappeared but circled around both of us. And I was engulfed in darkness with Demon but as the dark mist started to disappear I thought that I was going to die.
I was standing on top of a tower of a castle that looked over a whole region of darkness. I looked around and there was fire, lava, monsters that looked so scary it was beyond anyone's imagination. An active volcano was in the distance and there were also, naked humans, orcs, elves and other type of humans screaming, getting tortured, being burned alive, and even more.
"I-is this..."
"Hell." she whispered
"Oh, what the..."
I felt sick and scared that I stumbled back and nearly fell but Demon held onto me before I fell.
"Let's go inside." said Demon
She held onto me and jumped off the tower and landed in some yard and entered the castle. The castle was fucking creepy at the same time nice and neat. Something about it made it feel like it didn't belong in hell but belonged to some ruthless king.
"This is our place." said Demon as she pointed to two giant wooden doors.
"Our? Wait, we're sharing a room?" I asked
Demon doesn't reply and continues walking leaving me a bit dumbfounded. She continues telling me places such as the diner which had one of those long royal table, a training area with everything in it but it's not virtual since she can just use her demons as a target, a torture chamber in the basement and more things, but she passed by two doors that she didn't introduce. The doors looked tempting to open and something about it made me feel like I should just open it so I reached towards the doorknob but Demon grabs my arm and pulls me away.
"You open that door, you die." growled Demon
"Why? Is there something you're hiding?" I asked
"Yes, there's something in there that cannot be detained if it's released. It's stronger than me so let's do each other a favor and not open it." said Demon
I nodded and we continued through the hallways, the front entrance, the gym and other things. After we were done she led me to our room and when she opened it, I was in shock.
Inside was a room that had a huge window on the other side of the door showcasing the entire region of hell. There was a nice queen size bed that looked like the old ones used back in the days where there's curtains hanging on the top railings.
There was the same machine back at the MVA that we use to take off our armor plating, a wardrobe, a desk with a mirror, a rug and other accessories just for decoration.
"Nice room, where's my room?" I asked
"This is our room." said Demon as she took off her cloak and used the machine to take off her armor plating
"Huh?" I questioned
"Why, you never had a lover?" asked Demon
"N-no I was a sore loser back at home so I never had anyone." I said
"You're really different." said Demon
I nervously chuckled and scratched the back of my head.
She enlarged her tights and started taking them off and I immediately looked away. I didn't notice before because of the armor and all that but her breasts were pretty big.
"Why are you looking away?" asked Demon
"Well it's manners to look away when a girl is changing." I replied
I felt my cheeks turn hot and my you know was getting hard but I tried to think of something else butI felt arms wrap around me from behind.
"It's okay if you look at me like this." she whispered into my ears
I didn't know what to do, it's my first time having a girl hug me.
"Uhhh it's okay I want to give you some privacy." I nervously replied
"Don't worry about me, but do you want to shower together?" she asked
'Why is she asking me these questions? Does she actually like me?'
"N-no I'm good you can go first." I stuttered
"Your ears are turning red." she whispered, "But if you say so I'll shower first."
She lets go of me and heads into the bathroom. Once I heard the shower door close I let out my breath that I was holding in.
But when I turned around the door to the bathroom was made of glass so I was able to see her silhouette. I gasped and looked away as I heard the water running.
I looked around and quickly took off my armor plating and my tights and put on a robe that was hanging in a wardrobe and sat on the bed waiting for Demon to finish.
'What's going on, I don't even know how I'm supposed to treat a girl.'
She finished and when she got out she was drying her hair with a towel. She sat next to me and I saw the opening between her breast and I immediately looked away.
"Go shower while I change." she said
"Oh wait I had a question." I said
"What is it?" asked Demon
"Why did you kill your versions?" I asked
"They were the same as the other Ryus unwilling to listen. Unwillingly to understand what I'm trying to do. They abused their power too so I had to kill all of them. I may sound selfish but it was the only way in order to save the multiverse." said Demon
She grabbed my robe and pulled me in close to her face.
"You understand right?" asked Demon
"Of course, I would probably have done the same." I quickly replied kind of scared of what she might do.
She lets go of me and smiles.
"Go shower, we'll talk more later." said Demon
I nodded and left to go shower, and after about 10 minutes I finished and Demon was waiting patiently so I sat next to her on bed.
"Go to sleep, we have a mission tomorrow." said Demon
I nodded so I left to sleep on the couch but she grabbed my arm and pulled me into the bed.
"D-demon?" I stuttered in embarrassment
"Shhh." she whispered as she gently pressed her finger on my lips, "Go to sleep."
I nodded and made myself comfortable on the bed and closed my eyes. I thought I wasn't going to feel tired but I was feeling awfully tired so about a minute later I passed out.
Lydia's POV
"We can't get him at all?" I asked Kurt
He shook his head in failure and I was so sad and pissed.
"Not another Ryu." sighed Kishimoto
"He might be in hell right now." said Kurt
"Doesn't the new suit have a tracking device?" I asked
"It does but it doesn't send us a signal until Ryu activates it. I don't know if he knows about it." said Kurt
"Dammit!" I yelled
"He could be dead." said Kishimoto
I stayed silent but I was pacing around the control room in frustration.
"I can't lose him now, not now." I whispered to myself
