Currently, I am chewing my nails. The reason is because Liana has found out about my upcoming marriage with Hans. Who could have been the whistle blower? Is probably what you are wondering now.
Of course it is none other than, "Mint! Tell me right now, exactly what you mentioned to Liana!" I scream down the phone.
When did Liana and Mint become friendly with each other? As far as Liana told me, her and Mint always bickered when she went over to pester him about my whereabouts.
"C-Calm down sis." He sounds guilty, "I didn't mean to. It kind of slipped."
"You'll be slipping on your face when I see you." I threaten half jokingly. What if Panda finds out?
"I'm sorry sis. Forgive me? You know I need my face to live." Mint moans.
"Yes, like picking up girls with it." I say sarcastically. My brother is handsome and gets as much attention as I usually did when I went out. "Don't tell anyone else Mint. I want to keep my life private." I say seriously.
"Alright sis." He says, "I won't tell anyone else. You have my word."
"Thanks." I sigh in relief.
I don't want to alert anyone else with my marriage plans. Hans and I will only be married in name anyway.

Again, I am hiding under the covers as I watch the livestream of the most famous wedding of the year. I have been extra careful to make sure Hans doesn't catch me. As the news reporters give a live commentary, my eyes travel to the elegant stage and the beautiful set up of the banqueting venue. It sure is good to be rich.
The guests slowly fill in the seats as the paparazzi and reporters announce the famous names from all over the country who are attending the wedding. It's a while later when they announce the bride who walks down the red carpet with her father. She looks like the happiest woman in the world in a gorgeous white lace dress and a veil covering her face. Her father escorts her to the stage and she smiles and waves at the guests as they admire her.
My breathing stops as I wait for the reporters to announce the groom's entrance. I see Mr and Mrs King enter but everyone is chattering in confusion as they keep their eyes glued to the door. Is something amiss? The comments on the live stream flood in as the audience wonder amongst themselves regarding the groom.
It's a good fifteen minutes later when the reporter who is giving the commentary on the live stream informs us that the groom has disappeared. The comments which follow are insults towards Panda King and people pitying Ciarra Lake for being stood up on her wedding day.
As I see Ciarra angrily stamp off stage, the reporter quickly ends the live stream and I sigh. Where is Panda King? Why did he not go? After getting to know him so well, I know that he would never do what he doesn't want to. Although, from what he mentioned to me, his parents forced him into this marriage with Ciarra, he didn't like it. Someone like Panda King is too stubborn to remain pressed under another's thumb.
My ringtone suddenly goes off and my phone flashes with Liana's name. I sit up and answer.
"Liana, what's going on?" I ask.
"You were watching?" She asks slowly.
"Yes. They said he's disappeared. What does that mean Liana?" I ask, a little worried.
"No one has been able to contact Pan since this morning. We haven't seen him since last night." Liana says, sounding like she is on the verge of tears.
"Have you sent people to look for him?" I ask. Where could he have gone?
"Yes, we sent a lot of men to search every place we could think of but they haven't found him." She winces, "Ciarra is throwing a tantrum right now. Oh, I just thought of somewhere." Liana says after a pause. "Tina, I'll call you back when everything is sorted here. Let me know if you can think of a place he might be."
"Don't worry Liana, you'll find him." I say hopefully.
As I stare at the wall, I suddenly recall what he asked me a few days ago in his car.
"Tina, would you run away with me to Berta Island?"
Could he have possibly gone to the island?
I quickly search up Berta Island and find out that it is an island belonging to the King family. There is a very high certainty that he is there. It takes a day by boat and there are no aeroplanes which travel there.
Urgently, I pack some clothes and other essential things I would need for travel into my suitcase. There must be a reason Panda escaped. He probably doesn't want to be found. My heart clenches. Something is making me determined to find him.
My thumb hovers over the call button. Should I let Liana know or not? I know she is worried but it will probably be better if I figure out why Panda didn't tell anyone and stood his bride up at the wedding.
Fortunately, Hans is out. I leave a message saying I am going to visit a friend and will stay over for a day. That should give me enough time to find Panda King.
Wait for me Panda King.
