I am so proud of my girl. I am proud of all of them. We all want to make this party a big success for them. We have been working out the details for weeks. All of the adults have been asking the kids what they want to do, and we got some real interesting ideas. We got a karaoke machine for a singing contest, Annie is going to do henna tattoos, We even got a bounce house for the kids. We even have a race course set up for them. No one knows about the go-karts yet. There are other little things but I don't think the kids will find them as exciting. To be honest they are more for the younger children. We just want to make sure everyone has fun.
As the three of us are preparing for the food to be taken out Emily comes down stairs. She looks so beautiful in the light blue dress. When she gets to the bottom mom we all start applauding. She looks up at us and starts smiling. We all smile back at her. We are all very proud of her. I hope nothing bad ever happens to her. I don't want to loose her.
When she comes over to us she takes turns giving us hugs and we of course tell her how proud we are of her. She tells us all thank you and I love you. I have to say I was shocked when she said it because she has never said it before so when she pulled back I know she saw the shocked look on my face, so she hugged me again then I managed to pull myself together. Then Lilly says," Oh, honey you look so beautiful. I can't believe you have finally graduated. Now we have everything ready why don't you go hang out with your friends, the others will be here soon."
" Sure mom, oh one more question. Who is going to man the barbeques?"
We all start laughing then Lilly says," Oh you kids will get a kick out of this, every adult male who has a barbeque has decided they are going to barbecue tonight. They have already decided who is going to do the steak, ribs, sausages and hot dogs, chicken, and they also have a vegetarian grill set up."
I could tell she was in shock, I don't think ahe expected anything like this so I couldn't help it I started laughing. Then the three of them joined in. She was very surprised but then she thought about it for a minute and," Well at least we will have plenty of meat tonight. And I'm glad someone thought to do a vegetarian grill. We do have a few vegetarian friends coming tonight. Okay I'm going to go outside now."
Once she heads outside she goes around to every griller she sees. Then she gives each one of them a hug and tell them all thank you. Then when she gets to the last one. She not only gives him a hug but she gives him a kiss on the cheek as well. Then she tells him thank you for not only doing the grilling but for taking care of her vegetarian friends as well.
While she was doing this we were watching her and talking about how good of a queen she will make. We are all so proud of her. She cares about people and how they feel. I know she saw that we were watching her, all she did was shake her head when she saw smiling at her then I walked over to my friends.
I believe my favorite part of the party was when everyone got here, the first thing they did was start talking about food.
Everyone thought it was so cool that we had different barbeque stations set up all over the party grounds. And it turns out a few of our friends were taking bets as to wether or not we would have a vegetarian grill set up. Emily took everyone over to Gabriel and showed them we did in deed have a vegetarian grill set up. I started laughing at this she just smiled at him as the others started clapping and cheering then they walked off to check out the music and other entertainment we had set up.
All in all the party was a great success. Everyone had a lot of fun and got to eat as much as they wanted. The only accident we had all night is when Destiny knock Star over and got overly excited during the karaoke competition. Because of flips they did everyone decided they won. Then the guys got excited over the race track and go-kart set up we had for them. A young man named Camron won first place in the car races, second place went to William, and third went to Amy.
At about eleven everyone went home. I guess we wore them out because no one wanted to go to any of her party parties. All in all it was a great party.
We cleaned up as much as we could and then everyone went to their houses.
When we got inside Emily she came over and gave everyone another hug and told ua all it was a wonderful party and thank you again. Then she went to bed, soon after that we all went to bed.
