Huang Zhen Chun didn't have any malicious intentions as he looked at the round figure that was smaller than him.
He genuinely wanted to know why he looked like his mother so much!
She must be younger than him right, don't tell him that mother gave him a younger sister and forgot to tell him all about it?!
He scrutinised the girl who seemed to be doing the same, before asking his question again.
Qiong Lian sighed before placing down her chopsticks beside the overturned bowl, "little brother, my face is common and can be associated with others one way or another."
She kindly pointed out, although Qiong Lian didn't have any distinct facial features apart from her pair of alluring eyes, she looked like a ten-year-old at the moment!
From her life experience, all children looked the same; the only difference was their height and weight!
But alas, even if Qiong Lian was partially face-blind, others weren't as Huang Zhen Chun scrawled.
"Are you saying my mother has a common appearance?!"
Kid, when did I say that?!
ヽ(゜Q.)ノ?
"No, no, that's not what I'm saying!"
Huang Zhen Chun slapped the table again, causing it to snap in two.
By now the commotion between the two had attracted a relatively large crowed as they whispered amongst themselves.
What unfortunate person drew the attention of this little tyrant?
In the entire Yun city, there was only one young master that was more unruly than the rest.
He wouldn't even give his old man's face, let alone the entire imperial city!
It was also because he was the distant nephew of the current emperor that he could also act this way.
"I don't care; I must teach you a lesson today!"
Qiong Lian was confused, what the h*ll, how did you conclude that you can teach any random stranger a lesson? Is your brain broken?
She took a glance at the crowd who were enjoying the show but showing no sign of giving her a hand; even the aggrieved dumpling seller had his head bowed.
Heh, even in a game the humans still act like humans.
She mentally gave the game devs a clap, what a spectacular game you all created!
Qiong Lian slowly stood up, while grabbing hold of the hand of the young boy who had the intention of pushing her over.
"Young master!" The guards that had come out with Huang Zhen Chun on his daily walk were startled as they found their young master being taken advantage of.
That chubby face that looked soft and harmless suddenly had a pair of sharp eyes, "ah, I forgot what it was like to communicate with the special species called idiots," she pulled his arms causing him to come closer to her.
She had intended to talk her way peacefully out of this, but the other party wanted to get physically violent.
Who was to blame for her retaliating?
"Do you know what I hate the most in life?" Qiong Lian's eyes glanced at the guards, causing them to stiffen in place.
She looked into Huang Zhen Chun eyes again who was shaking his head in fright, "I hate idiots like you who don't use your brain but still think you're above others."
Qiong Lian tapped his forehead, causing cold sweat to break from Huang Zhen Chun's neck, "if you're not using it then how about I get rid of it for you," she beautifully smiled, "free of charge."
Didn't know if it was due to fear but Huang Zhen Chun managed to break out of her grip before retreating while stuttering, "s-stay away from me!"
Qiong Lian straightened up as she cocked her head and glanced to the side where the broken table was.
A memory flashed in her mind.
"Lian are you haven't eaten for five days, are you planning to starve to death?" A young man asked.
"I'd rather be starving to death than die from poison." A stubborn five-year-old pouted while she curled herself far away from the bowl of chicken soup.
Thirteen Years Later...
"It felt like yesterday that you refused to eat," a handsome and mature man leaned on the table while watching a stunning young woman finish the bowl.
"It's been over a decade; I'm not ignorant anymore."
Qiong Lian was silently pursing her lips as she remembered that conversation with her instructor when she had first entered the gang.
After her last mission, she went into hiding and hadn't seen him ever since that evening banquet she, wondered if he's been killed off by the other gangs or not.
"What are you all waiting for, catch her for me, I'm taking her home to find grandfather!"
Huang Zhen Chun finally came back to his senses, that was a scary bloodthirsty aura!
He has never been humiliated like that in his entire life, so if he didn't take revenge, then he wouldn't live up to his name!
Besides, there were so many on his side, how would this lone little girl be able to fight against them?
The guards also realised they lost face for being unable to protect their young lord; hence they turned menacing as they glared at the round girl.
Didn't know what dark magic she used to instigate fear in them but they'll make sure to make her pay for it!
Qiong Lian slowly glanced at the group of men that were itching for a beating.
Seriously, she hadn't gotten her hand messy for several years. She's been doing clean work ever since that accident.
But now seeing these fools coming towards their deaths on their initiative, shouldn't she have some fun?
That evening the Huang mansion received a beautifully crafted letter along with a simple message written inside.
Who knew what was written inside, but as soon as the Old Master read it, he nearly faint from anger.
Huang Mo Yin picked up the letter his grandfather had thrown on the floor before glancing at the contents; a slow smile began to form on his lips as he looked at the double doors that had been flung open.
[Your family was useless to give birth to someone like Huang Zhen Chun. Since he's so useless, I can get rid of him for free. Unless you still want such a person in your family, then I suggest you come to collect him at Yuechu Guidao Street within one hour.]
What had that useless younger brother of him done this time to offend someone like this? But that person seemed like someone fun and he was suddenly curious to meet them!
Thinking about it, he straightened his clothes before walking out of the open door, following behind the crowd of torches that was heading to Yuechu Guidao Street.
