Chloe's POV
It has been a long time since I last saw him. I missed him. Did he miss me? Dimash do you still remember me? I know I hurt you, but I still love you. I still want you. I know you don't want me though.
Chloe sighed. She wants him back. But she knows Dimash is no longer hers. Chloe smiles sadly as she remembered the look on Dimash's face when she told the boy about her cheating on him.
*Flashback*
Dimash stares at the girl as the boy beside her walk out of the room.
"Why Chloe?"
"I'm sorry Dimash."
"How long have you been doing this behind my back?"
"2 years."
"Chloe, you know that it hurts me to see the person I love and care about betraying me behind my back."
Chloe remains quiet as she knows what is going to happen.
"Let's break up. You have your new lover to care for you."
"I'm really sorry."
"Sorry isn't enough Chloe. You broke me."
*End of Flashback*
Chloe shakes her head at the memory.
"It's all my fault. Why did I cheat? Why did I hurt him?"
"Chloe?!"
Chloe turns around. She is surprised to see who it was.
"It has been a long time."
Dimash's POV
Walking through the park, I wonder how Hafsah and Mira are doing. Chloe's return has driven this relationship apart. From a distance, I saw a figure I know I shouldn't be seeing. It can't be.
"Chloe?!"
I saw her turn around. She looks surprised to see me.
"It has been a long time."
I nodded. Ever since the breakup, things have been awkward between us.
"It has. How are you doing?"
I saw her smile a bit.
"I'm trying the best I could. Getting there. How have you been."
I smiled as I thought of Hafsah and Mira.
"I'm good. I married a girl that truly loves me."
I saw her smile fade.
"I'm happy you are able to love again, Dimash. I mean, I left you in pain and it took time for that feeling to develop for someone else. I'm glad you have someone who truly loves you though."
"Chloe, I know you still like me. Doesn't this bother you at all?"
"It does, but I want you to be happy. You deserve someone who can show you what love really is. Unlike me, I hurt you, dated you for your money, and broke your heart. I don't want to make you suffer again. I know what I did to you back then was wrong. I promise I will try to stay away as much as possible from you and your family. But I don't want us to be strangers. Can we be friends instead, Dimash?"
Dimash nodded.
"I forgive you, Chloe. You really changed a lot."
"Thanks, Dimash."
As I watch her leave, it occur to me that she really changed. Before, she would throw herself at me. But now, she understood her wrong doings and wants to change for the better. I think letting her be friends instead of a stranger might be better. But that doesn't mean I love her as a lover. My true love is Hafsah. I have a family to care for now. Chloe isn't my problem to deal with anymore. So long Chloe.
I forgive you.
