Chapter 6 - Rune’s and Hierarchy

TWO YEAR TIME SKIP

Its been two years since i died because of ice tea and was brought to a new world, and I've learned a lot of things by a lot I mean a lot, a lot of fascinating but also infuriating stuff.

I found out that this world is basically a cultivation world but not like the wuxia cultivation novels people read about.

in this world there are multiple tribes, I don't know a lot about the tribes but I know there is about five different tribes in our vicinity and these tribes are ruled over by one clan, there is The phantom fire tribe, the lightning hound tribe, the rapid water tribe, the red storm tribe, and the poison hunt tribe, and they are ruled by the corrupt raven clan.

I don't know if that's all but I'm 2 years old I can't go out exploring in the forest and expect to gain something. In the world I'm in I'd probably die a few seconds after

As I said before this is a cultivation world but not like the wuxia world the people in this world cultivate in a different way than normal. There are things called Runes and Ether. Ether is what you would call chi and life energy while the rune acts like conduit. Think Harry Potter the wand is the rune and magic is the ether, while you as the person commands the magic through the wand. I'm not really too sure this is mostly a hypothesis since I haven't come in contact with runes

Back to the runes, for each tribe they each have a specific ruin, my tribe the poison hunt tribe has a scythe. the ruin looks an obsidian black scythe on our right chest. The interesting thing about it is with certain techniques people in these tribes have learned how to gather the ether energy that's around us and use it to break their limits.

At the age of 4, the ruin appears on our body, utilizing the technique to harness the ether you can start for a lack of better term cultivating, as of now I only know about the four basic stages. The first stage is the iron skin stage, the second is the steel bone stage, the third is the copper marrow stage, and the last stage is called the new blood stage. It's all really self-explanatory.

Now the runes, I found out we're special, really really special, in the first three levels of cultivation the runes are said to lay dormant and intake energy constantly. For each increase in level the rune would increase it's size by two inches.

Now the really interesting thing is after you break through the first four stages, I heard that you can conjure your rune outside of your self.

Aside from gathering information on only runes I realised something that, I don't know weather or not I can make it in this world. Don't get me wrong I'm not sexist or nothing but this is to big of a change at least for me.

In this world females are at the top and males are below. The whole reason is because females are stronger then males in this world.

The females are more in tune with the ether around us so they get purer ether then males. So if a man was on the same level as a female 8/10 chance they would get destroyed. Well not destroyed but 8/10 times they would get their ass beat

But their are rare case where their are abnormally strong men in the tribe, sometimes they end up being the chief of that tribe, or they don't want the pressure and sit and laze around the house like my damn father.

I heard about him in the tribe when I was out with mother, Adam D Heart also known as Nine Heart Adam. During a battle with the redstorm tribe he was stabbed nine times in the damn chest and he still ended up killing all nine warriors of that tribe.

When I heard that I couldn't believe it, this is the man who on the day of my birth wore a mask to scare the shit out of me, a month later he would put salt in my water, and when I started crying he literally threw me under the bed and ran.

But that's not the only thing I ended up hearing, I heard about an interesting woman, her name is Ruth D Heart, Also known as Ruth Dark Heart. During a battle with the lightning hound tribe, she was surrounded by four of the enemy warriors no way out and no reinforcements .

Do you know what she did, well nobody knows all they know is her opponents bodies were found a few hours later with a big hole In their chest where the heart was meant to be

Your probably asking how do you know all this, well it's because all the people in this village do is talk about how they gutted him and how they broke her bones, like these people are real life mortal combat characters.

But I didn't only learn about this I learned a few things about the tribes hierarchy.

At the top of the tribe their is the Chief her name is Renea orsbik she makes every decision for the tribe, in the tribes her words are final. The position of the chief is always given to the strongest of the clan it's not hereditary

But she doesn't make the decision by her self there's the shaman by her side now don't think the shaman is just a old healer who talk to spirits, I heard that she's a dangerous warrior as well. But the shaman is like the spiritual leader of the tribe

Under the shaman and the chief are the five elder warriors, they are the 5 strongest warrior after the chief, when these five people come together they have the ability to overule the chiefs decision. The shaman acts as the tie breaker if their is an impasse.

Under these 5 elder warriors are the warriors, to be a warrior I heard you had to break through past the first 4 stages and enter the conjoure realm

Under the warriors are apprentice warriors people in the first four stages and under these people there are the civilians, people in the tribe who can't harness the power of either but still have ruins

Two more year's to go and my rune will appear I really can't wait. These past two years aside from gaining information I was teaching my self how to read And write, even though it might seem useless now everyone needs a fall safe

With my increase in comprehension, this was easy. One day my mother caught me and soon I was label a talent by the tribe, but that didn't cause an uproar because academics don't account too much in this world, as of now at least.
