I woke up to the sound of crashing waves. I felt a heavy weight in the pit of my lap. I looked down to see Akira resting.
I listened carefully to my surrounding to ensure of no other opposers.
I shook Akira awake.
"Hey, hey. Wake up."
Akira opened her eyes and looked up at me.
"You're.. You're really pretty."
"O-oh, uhm, thank you. Look, we've gotta go before things get heated. Again."
"Y-yeah."
I helped Akira to her feet. She seemed to be in even more pain than before. I lifted her on to my back. She was extremely light. I picked up our weapons and started to move.
I ducked behind boulders and hid behind trees until I made it back to the tent.
When I peaked my head inside, Violet was pointing a bow and arrow directly at my face. If I were to inch any closer, the arrow would've impaled my skull.
Violet quickly dropped her weapon and ran over to help me up. I helped Akira get comfortable on the ground; and Violet pulled me into an embrace.
"Where the hell were you..?!"
"By the beach, with Akira."
She pulled back, still holding my arms.
"I was calling for you..!"
"Oh. That was you."
"Do you want some food?!"
"No. You can give Akira her portion and mine."
"O-okay.."
Violet goes to do just that whilst I sit on the ground next to Akira.
"You okay? How's your leg?"
"It's hurts more than it did yesterday, but I think I'll manage. As long as you're here with me, of course."
"Yeah.."
Violet comes back with the 'trail mix' and throws the packages in Akira's lap.
Violet pulls me by the arm up off the floor and drags me away.
"What's going on with you and her?"
"Akira? What do you mean?"
"Yes Akira, when did you two become so close?"
"What are you talking about? She's hurt."
"You're just walking around with a bra on practically snuggling up with her."
I rolled my eyes.
Violet put her hands around my waist and looked up at me.
"I like you."
