Waiting for her mother's car to pull into the parking lot, Janice stood outside on the stairs baloney.
"Why'd you invite her over here if you know she just going to bitch about everything?" Damien closed the door behind him.
"She's still my mom at the end of the day and she said that she had to talk to me about something." Janice moved over for him to join her on railing.
Damien tried to wrap his arms around Janice and her baby bump but she pulled away and leaned back against the railing.
"Don't touch me. You're only here because of court orders." She fixed her eyes back to the parking lot and to her mother's blue PT cruiser coming in, "Well, bring her up here and try to be nice."
Janice went back into the apartment and checked on Naomi getting herself dressed. She had on her tan sweater dress, with her hair back into two side braids, trying to put on her leggings.
"Can you pwease help me mommy?" She handed Janice her leggings.
"Of course beautiful." Janice rolled up the one leg on the leggings and Naomi stepped in them, repeating the same thing on the other side.
"Where the hell is Janice at? I don't believe she's even letting your bum ass lay your head here every night." Alice's voice rang in Janice's ears.
"Is that MomMom Ali?" Naomi asked in excitement.
"Sadly, yes. It's MomMom Ali. Let's go say hi." She grabbed Naomi's hand and her belly at the same time, exhaling.
They came around the corner with her mom standing in the middle of the living room, her hands propped on her hips.
"Hello Janice Yvette. How are you?" Her mother snapped.
"Good and you Alice Francis?" Janice snapped back.
"Hi Naomi. Are you going to give grandma a hug or just stand there behind your mom?" She walked over and pinched Naomi's cheeks.
Janice sighed, "Okay mom, you said you came over to talk, not pick with Naomi. Can we get to that, I have to work tonight."
"Well first, how's the baby?" Her mother sat down at the dining room table and Janice across from her.
"She's fine." She rubbed her tiny belly.
"So it's another girl? Any names in mind?" Alice intertwined her fingers and sat her hands up on the table.
Janice took attention to her mothers missing wedding ring then met her eyes, "Nova is what I'm considering, maybe Nevaeh."
"What's going on with this black eye and the hand print on your cheek? Are you going to work like that?" Her mother's face clinched.
Janice rolled her eyes, "Can you please just get on with this talk?"
Alice sucked her teeth, "Alright child. I wanted to know if you wanted to come back home and we can start over. We can be like a mother and daughter are suppose to be, Naomi can have her grandmother around and I can babysit for you whenever you need me to."
"Did he leave you?" Janice rested her head on her hands.
Alice sighed and grinned, "We're having some rough times right now, just like me and you."
Janice raised her eyebrows, "Who are you on good terms with?" She laughed.
"I'm on good terms with your sister." Alice replied under her breath.
She shook her head, "Mom, I don't have a sister? What are you talking about?"
Alice wiped her brows, "You do have a sister. Dallas is actually your sister. You know why I'm so hard on you, because I didn't want you to end up like me with two kids at sixteen and I wasn't ready to be a mother at thirteen which is why I gave Dallas to Alecia. I just think my girls deserve to know that they're not cousins but sisters. I've kept it to myself for too long and shouldn't have to pay the price for my mistakes."
"Well if you're only saying this because you think I'll come back and everything will be normal, it won't be. I cant even believe you right now. This is low, even for you Alice. I'm such a fuck up in your eyes so why would you keep me and not Dallas? You're so proud of everything she's done and you've always said I need to be more like her. Maybe you should've kept her."
Janice's blood boiled in her veins with the fact of her mother stepping so low as to lying to have her back home, only to be under her control.
"Janice, I came to confine in you, hoping that you wouldn't think that I was just doing this for my own selfish being but that's okay. As long as I have my skeletons out my closet, I won't lose any sleep over it anymore. I guess you have a happy little family here." With that said, Alice rolled her eyes, swung her bag around her shoulder and went to exit Janice's apartment.
Unshaded, Janice went to get dressed for work, covered her black eye and bruised cheek in the process.
"Mommy, what happened to your face?" Naomi stood in the doorway of the bathroom as Janice applied to last of her foundation.
"It's just dark spots from being pregnant, stressed and older. But you won't have to deal with these because you'll be smarter than mommy is." She kneeled down and kissed Naomi, "Daddy is going to watch you while I go to work. I'll be back home around nine."
Naomi stared into Janice's dark eyes and seem to see everything she knew her mother didn't want to tell her honestly, "I love you mommy."
Her eyes teared up, "I love you too Chubbs."
Janice went about her way onto work.

9:20PM
Janice creeped back into the apartment, locked the door behind her and sat her keys on the dining room table. As she passed by Naomi's room, her heard her snoring and smiled. In the master bedroom, Damien's snoring also filled the room.
"Damien." Janice tapped his arm.
He groaned.
"I'm home. You can leave now." She undressed down to her panties and tank top.
Damien wiped the drool from his mouth and got up with a hustle, "Goodnight Jay."
"Actually." Janice stopped Damien in his tracks, "Will you spend the night with me? I need somebody to talk to and I just don't want to feel lonely."
He rubbed his eyes, "Yeah man, I'll stay." He flopped back down on the bed next to Janice as she sat up with her legs crossed next to him.
"D, you remember when we first met? It was our first day of middle school and we ran into each other in the hallway." Janice snickered under her breath.
Damien sat up and smiled, "Yeah, I remember Jay. You accidentally took my phone charger and lock combo tag, I couldn't get in my locker for days."
They laughed in unison.
"Oh. Look whose awake." She put her hands on her belly, "You want to feel her kicking?"
"I never got to feel Naomi kick. Didn't see her birth, learn to walk or talk. Damn." He lied his hands on Janice's belly, "I love you Jay."
"You haven't said that to me in six years, Damien" Her eyes teared up and her voice softened.
"Can her middle name be Tegan? I still want some input even though my last name is out of the question." He pulled up her tank top and kissed her belly.
Janice ran her fingers through his hair and cupped his face in her hands, "Tegan is a beautiful name."
They stared into each other's eyes until their lips locked into a kissed. Damien teased Janice with the tip of his tongue and took a few light bites from her bottom lip; only for Janice to return with a few bites and teasing as well. Janice pulled Damien down on top of her and rubbed her fingers down his manhood as Damien grabbed Janice's breast.
She cringed, "Be gentle. They're so tender and swollen."
"Wait. Why are we doing this? Aren't you still seeing that Chase girl?" Damien snapped.
"If we're together, then why isn't she here about to have bomb ass sex with me?" Janice locked her lips back into Damien's.
She slipped off her panties, Damien's sweatpants and inspected him inside herself. She bite his lip as he moaned.
"Why are pregnant girls so wet?" Damien moaned.
"Girls? Seriously Damien? Thanks for indirectly bringing up Alana. I thought we were having a moment." Janice pushed Damien from inside her and rolled over, "I can't believe you'd even indirectly compare our pussies in the same sentences, no actually I can believe it."
Damien's phone binged, "I'm sorry Jay. I gotta head out real quick."
Janice threw up her middle finger, "BYE!"
About 15 minutes passed by before Janice was singing to the high heavens and looking at the back of her eyelids. The sounds of moaning slightly woke her up. She rubbed the crust out her eyes and put another pair of panties on to follow the sounds of the moaning, leading to the living room.
Some rainbow colored head bobbed up and down from in between Damien's chicken legs. The girl sucked up all her spit and held her head up, death gripping his manhood, "So when can I meet your daughter?" she asked him.
"Bitch, never." Janice interrupted,
They broke their necks to see no one other then Janice standing in the hallway. Damien pushed the girl on the floor and hurried to stuff himself back in his pants.
"Who the hell is she?" The girl wiped her bottom lip and stood up.
Janice bucked up to both Damien and the hoe, "Oh, so you're into ass ratchet hoes in Cambridge now? And honey, I'm the daughter's mother and the other daughter's mother. Both the daughters are with me."
"I though you only had one daughter?" The girl noodle necked.
"I'm pregnant, he ain't tell your ugly ass that? Wait, it's none of your damn business and you shouldn't even be in my house." Janice grabbed her by her rainbow pony weave and slammed her on the living room floor. She dragged her to the door, unlocked the locks and flung her out on the pavement, "Don't ever show your Crayon head ass around this part again."
She turned back around to face Damien, "I hope you enjoy your double dose of blue balls. I don't have a single ounce of fight left in me for you." Janice walked back into the bedroom, shutting and locking the door behind her.
