(y/n) P.O.V. 1st Person
I let out a chuckle, but Tamura keeps a straight face. "No, I'm serious," he tells me, but I still think it's funny. I've spent the last few days hanging out with him and Yuri since I don't really have anyone else to hang out with right now. The real exams are just in a couple days but the only studying I've been doing is with the club. He and the others have helped distract me though from some of the issues that have been pressing on my mind lately. I'm starting to be really grateful I came here. (As usual no one is actually cumming rn.)
"This pisses me off." I hear a familiar voice complain from not too far away. Turning my head, I notice Yacchan leaning over the windowsill, resting his cheek in his palm. Our eyes immediately meet as I turn my gaze his way. He's pouting and biting down on his cheek. It's been a while since I've last seen him, and I'm sure the shock on my face is apparent. He probably didn't mean to say that aloud, which becomes evident as he ducks his head out of sight.
Tamura doesn't notice and keeps talking. Running a hand through his hair awkwardly, he motions down the path. "Hey (l/n), I've got an appointment here in a few minutes. Mind if I leave? I mean… you can join if you want." He winks at me.
I shake my head, gazing back towards where Yacchan was waiting seconds ago. 'I still haven't had sex this month, but I don't want to go and just do it with anyone. Besides, the whole orgy thing isn't actually half bad when it comes down to it.'
"Nah, I'll see ya in the club later!" I wave him off as I slowly approach where the first year is still hiding. "Yacchan!" I call, leaning over the edge to see the boy crouched down on the floor. He carefully gets up and heads out the exit, but doesn't say anything. "How have you been?"
"Okay.." He shrugs, furrowing his brows. His expression is cute, but I can tell he's feeling irritated.
"That's good." I force a smile, but I'm a bit worried about talking to him. 'Is he still mad?' "I was really worried about you. You've been avoiding me for a while now, and well… a few days ago Toono said you hadn't been in class because you were sick."
"I didn't ask you to worry," he snarls, quickly interrupting me. His eyes are focused on the floor, hidden behind his bangs. "Just leave me alone." The boy walks past me. Whatever had convinced him to come out and greet me was gone now.
"Hey, wait! Are you okay? Why are you acting like this?" I reach for his arm, "I can't understand if you don't explain." He turns around as my skin grazes his, shoving me up against the wall. His fists slam next to me as he curses under his breath. I've never seen him like this before, but we're all a little different when we're mad, right?
"Why... why can't you just take a hint..." he mutters.
"What?" I ask, raising my voice a little without meaning to.
He suddenly shouts, "You've been screwing around, that's what!" One of his hands grips my shirt, pulling at my collar so he can look me in the eye. "Don't pretend to care about my feelings when you go around and do it with other guys!"
He still grips onto my top but he's seemed to calm himself down. I'm speechless, what am I supposed to say?
He starts to cry. "The only thing I want is you… so why are you being so unfair!" He turns his attention back to me, his anger piling up again. "If I'm hurt it's your fault so don't act like everything's fine!"
Suddenly a hand yanks Yaguchi back and slaps across his face. I glance up to see Akemi frowning at the boy. I don't think I've ever seen him angry before. He always puts a smile on, even when he means no good. "I heard you screaming from up there and came to see what was going on," Akemi sounds pissed, "Talk to (y/n)-chan like that again and I'll rape you." He doesn't even smile when he says it this time, but after seeing how he dealt with threats I know he means it. He's the type who would look for any excuse to do it.
Yacchan's fists relax, but his body tenses up. His expression is frightened, but I don't pay much attention to it. I'm stuck mulling over his words in my head. 'It's my... fault?' "Yacchan... I..." I stare at my feet, slumping down onto a curb as I carefully pick my words. 'I won't react emotionally. I need to stay calm about this.' "I'm glad to have had you as a friend. You know, it really has made me happy that you want to look out for me and actually care... but you can't treat me like this. You can't avoid me and get all mad and blame things on me. I understand if I've hurt your feelings," I send him a quick bow, "so I'll be going now."
With that I turn and storm off towards the fields. I'm gonna need a moment alone to reflect. A place to let my feelings out without anyone seeing. Yacchan doesn't say anything. In fact, the first words I hear behind me are from Akemi. "What are you waiting for? Go after them."
I hear his footsteps behind me. A shuffle that continues to grow louder with his breathing as he seems to be overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do and what to say. "(y/n)... (y/n)-senpai! (y/n)!" He calls for my attention, but I ignore him, continuing on. 'He's avoided me for days, what is a little bit from me?' Out of nowhere he wraps his arms around me, pulling me to a halt. He buries his face in the back of my neck, his warm tears pouring out over the surface. "I'm sorry... I'm really really sorry…"
I don't struggle, I just let him hold me. He hugs tightly onto me.
"Don't go away… please don't leave me…" he sniffles. "(y/n)..." He mumbles something I can't make out. I manage to get him to loosen his grip just enough for me to turn around and hug him back. "Don't hate me..."
I smile as I cup his cheek, "I could never. I'm sorry too. Okay?" He nods, a faint smile starting on his face.
"You don't know how much you mean to me, so please..." he whispers near my ear, lips brushing against my cheek bone.
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm always here." I slowly pull myself out of the hug, tugging on his hand. "Come on, let's go. There's still a bit of time before class starts again."
