Chapter 3 - duex

"Woah this place is huge," said the boy with the slicked hair, as he continued to drive towards the manor.

"How far is that stupid manor," whined the boy with the buzzcut. "It feels like you've been driving for ages Allusion.

Alessio growled and looked behind him, taking off his seatbelt and moved towards the boy with the buzzcut. He grabbed him by his shirt and pull him closer to him and looked dead into his eyes. "Keita, how many shitting times do I have to say it, don't ever and I mean ever called me Alessio. I go by Ale or Al now, I don't want to be called by the name my stupid mother gave me. It's a disgrace." He pushed Keita back to the seat and turned around not even putting on his seatbelt and continued to drive.

Silence was brought upon Keita as he looked up behind Alessio in guilt. He knew he shouldn't have said that, his name was a sensitive topic for him ever since that day. He looked up at Alessio and opened his mouth but closed it again. He was unsure of how to apologize to him, he was unsure if his apology would even mean something.

Enzo looked at Keita amused. He was the most expressive member of their group and knew he was a big softie even if people found him intimidating. "Hey Kei don't sweat it mate. Al knows you didn't mean to. Am I right Al?" asked Enzo as he glanced at Alessio, moving his body forward signaling to him to say something to Keita.

He sighed. "It's alright Kei, I know you didn't mean to. I apologize for my hostile behavior against you mate. It's just it's been a hard few months." Continuing to drive but glanced at the mirror to look at Keita.

Keita looked at the mirror and met Alessio's glance. He nodded his head and smiled moving up to hug him from behind and noogie him.

"Hey get off me, I'm driving here! You want us to crash or something! I don't have the money to pay for the repairs of the things we damage knucklehead," yelled Alessio in irritation, but they knew he was just joking around.

"Your sappiness is disgusting ya know," said the boy with messed-up hair, who looked at the window puffing out his third cigarette.

The three boys looked at him and rolled their eyes. He was always like this. The so-called "emo-bad boy" was apart of their group, and....man was he bipolar. But even with his bipolar-ness, they loved him like a brother, despite the fact that he gets annoying sometimes.

He looked at the boys in irritation and raised his right eyebrow signaling one of them to answer. "What"

"What your face Jonah, that's the sixth cigarette you've had today dumbs. You were supposed to pace," responded Enzo, who had a huge grin on his face knowing what would come next from Jonah.

Jonah looked at Enzo and then to Alessio. "Why are you reprimanding me, as far as I know, I'm not the only one who has a problem here. Everyone in this group smokes, so don't make it seem like I ain't the only one"

"What are you lookin' at me for smart stuff! I only had two today." Alessio smirked at Jonah, provoking him so that they would try and do something.

"Two! HA! You have me shitting my pants off Ale as if you only puffed two today!"

Alessio pointed his finger to his glove compartment for Jonah to check it out, and see his pack. And he was right, 8 cigarettes were left making him only puff two this whole day. "What did I say, chum! Two cigarettes on pop."

Jonah slammed the cigarette cartoon back to the glove compartment and sighed. "You got me there bud....so does that mean you're on a leash now." pressed Jonah, knowing he was pushing a button.

Keita smacked Jonah's head hard.

"OW! man what's your problem!"

"Just wanted to see if your brain was working dumbass, we was supposed to save our cigarettes! The store won't be open until Monday and you're already puffing away your shit. Don't beg for ours when you murder yours," smirked Keita.

After what felt like an eternity the boys reached the front of the manor. Leaving their truck in the hands of the Bin family bell boy. They entered the house while touching up their hair and clothing, to make sure they look presentable in front of the great Calvin Bin. The first time they found out about Calvin Bin, they were hooked. The man had and did everything to get to where he is. The world-renowned businessman took failing businesses and made them successful overnight. He was truly a god in their eyes, and once they heard he would be moving to Coppola they did everything and made a plan to have an encounter with him.

Sadly their plan failed after many attempts. Their leads on where the man were all dead ends or they always a minute too late to see him. That was until August 28th. The boys were in Sheens, a diner famous for their milkshakes and food, feeling as if a train had run them over three times. They were picking on their food, the #3 special were the favorites of the boys but that day it seemed like they had no energy to even pick up a single fry.

Prinze the owner of the diner, looked at the boys who were always supportive of the diner even when times were tough in amusement. Out of the 12 years, he's known the four boys he had never ever seen them this low on energy before. They were usually, the loud ones, the party-goers, and his favorite word he liked to tell the boys from time to time, meshuga. While everyone saw them as delinquents and as the girls like to call them "hot bad boys". Cringey I know. He just saw them as boys who are trying to figure out who they are, and he for one understood them better than anyone because he was just like them when he was their age.

He walked on over to the boys and let out a deep chuckle. "Ya' boys doin' alright? Y'all look like y'all in a lil' stump?

They looked at Prinze with a defeated stare and sighed. "Prinze ya know Calvin Bin right?"

He looked at them with a bewildered expression and then clapped his hands together as he laughed out loud. "Do I know Calvin Bin? Boys I went with him to high school before he became a hotshot."

Upon hearing this their ears perked up, their once defeated expression suddenly changed into a curious one. Looking at them, he knew they didn't believe him. But boy, did he have a story to tell them.

"There's no way!" yelled Keita. "Why haven't you told us this before?"

"Ya boys never asked meh!" rebutted Prinze. "But yea' we was in high school together, smart man he was. Always the first one to score the highest in every test we took. He was athletic too no doubt. Mans was playin' on the varsity basketball in his freshman year. I was surprised he was able to juggle through all them extracurricular activities and school work. He reminds me a lot of Enzo though." Patting his back as he smiled showing his signature golden tooth.

Enzo looked at Prinze then at the boys, sticking his tongue out and teased the boys. "Well looks like I'm going to be the next Calvin Bin boys, you better watch out."

They all laughed and grinned widely at Enzo. "As if a shitter like you could be like Calvin Bin!"

Prinze smiled widely and belted out a deep laugh. "See there are the boys I know. All fun and laughter! But I'm sho' y'all will see him sooner than you expect it, he lives in Coppola now."

"Coppola is not a small town, Prinze," said Jonah as he picked on his fries from his plate.

"But it ain't a big one either, it's a moderate size boy. I betcha you can encounter him soon, he's a nice man. He never let anything get to him, despite the fact that he's made millions over the years."

Keita sipped on his Frosty Milkshake and fiddled with his fingers. "How do you know Prinze, have you seen him at all after you left high school?"

"Have I? Boy we was best friends in high school and we still are. He's the reason why I still have my diner! Always helpin' everyone no matter what. Didn't matter to him that I was a colored folk, he took me in his home whenever I ran away from home." He took a chair from the nearest table and sat down. "His folks treated me like I was anotha son to em' always made sure I ate right, gave me things I needed, and fought for me whenever my parents were unstable."

All of them shared a sad smile and nodded in understanding. Prinze chuckled and stared out into the windows of his diner. "They was about to adopt me too, legalize my name to Ekon Bin. I was gonna be a Bin, but I didn't care for the status their last name held." He sighed and rubbed his hands. "All I cared was that I was gonna be apart of their family, until one day Calvin and I went home after practice and saw the police there in our house and told us they was dead."

"Prinze you don't-" Prinze glared at Alessio.

"Boy don't interrupt my story." Alessio shook his hands in the hair and nudged forwards signaling him to continue.

"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. Mr. and Mrs. Bin were pronounced dead after a drunk driver crashed onto them when they were going home from Ben's. Calvin's auntie Lisse took him to France. He begged and begged for me to come with him, but I knew I couldn't come with him so I stayed behind. But he never once forgot to send me a letter on what he was doin'. We was penpals until I just stopped responding to him. He didn't need a slag like me, draggin' him down. He was doin' all kinda things with his life, and I couldn't do him like that."

*Ring*

A man with messy brown hair, a white suit, and blue sunglasses steps in with a bodyguard in front of him and two in the back. "And I tell you every time, you aren't a slag and that you weren't and would never drag me down because you are one of the reasons why I do this my dear brother."

Jaws were dropped from all the boys excluding Prinze. Calvin Bin was standing in front of all of them.
