The two have come to the Western Side of the town, where carts and carriages are plenty.
France talked to a local just a while away. Sure there were plenty of carts, however their frames and foundations had holes and splits.
Considering that Josh could see damage from the foundations from a bit of a distance, it was clear that this was likely to be a dumb for destroyed carts.
France had finished talking to the local and went back to Josh.
"That guy over there said that this area is just a dump sight.", France pointed towards the person in the distance as he sighed.
'Just as I thought. However, why is there so much broken carts to have a dedicated area just to contain them.', Josh wondered.
"What do you think about fixing one of these carts and using them to go to the kingdom.", France asked while expecting his idea to be rejected.
"Hmmmm..."
"Sure.", Josh said.
"Yeah I kno-, Wait really!?", France raised his voice in surprise.
"...Yes", Josh paused before answering.
Josh doesn't like extravagant and time consuming things without solid reasons. However, fun is a good reason for him.
Whilst answering, Josh imagined the cart going to a beautiful place. Of course, it wasn't just impulsively for joy.
Josh liked spending his money, and it seems as though France was the same. It was expected that the drivers would overprice the fee. If that happened, both Josh and France would just say "100 gold" when the first offer was steeply priced at 120.
"Just help me next time."
It was safe to say that Josh didn't care much about cash, an abundance in certain things would people make people take it for granted. However, this was practically a different reality where currency is absolutely needed.
"Oh and also, I just want a wagon. Don't add walls on it.", Josh really wanted to just hear the wind blow past him.
"You got it boss.", France said to Josh.
It was time to start fixing, Josh looked for a cart with 4 good wheels still attached whilst France dismantled some for parts.
Josh found one not long after, however the size of it was small and its damage was noticeable, however it was enough space for both Josh and France. Its path was obstructed meaning Josh couldn't pull it towards France.
'How do I remove these fast? Hmmmm... Pushing the other carts isn't easy, I'll just burn some of them.', Josh thought of the most reckless and lazy idea.
"Fireball, Water Ball.", Josh summoned two elemental balls, the water ball slightly bigger than the fire one.
Josh proceeded on to burning some of the carts, however Josh didn't wish to char even a bit of the good cart he found so he focused and tried to control the speed the obstacles burned.
Slowly did Josh burn away the first cart until it lit on its own, it was time to light up another one. Josh focused and carefully burned the wood, all of the effort would be wasted if he accidentaly sparked the cart.
"Hey Josh!", France shouted next to the focused Josh. Josh jolted from surprise and his fire ball had gone out of control.
The fireball had lit up a part of the cart and Josh expanded the water ball and made it shower over the cart.
"C'mon Josh, now the cart's all soggy.", France complained like a child.
Josh glared at France with his eyes showing his desire for some violence. France noticed this and apologized, "I'- I'm sorry, don't get too angry about it. As you can see nothing happened right?"
Josh took his eyes off of France and started to pushed off the previously burning debris. There was no use in trying to burn wet wood now so it was the only choice.
"Want to make the cart into a steam powered one?", France asked.
"Where did you get that dumb idea from?", Josh replied with a raised voice, he was still annoyed.
"We don't have a horse soooo- how about using a steam engine?", France elaborated.
"You're the one who's going to push the cart.", Josh said.
"Didn't you hear me apologize?"
"...", Josh answered with silence.
"How do you plan on making one?", Josh listened.
"Oh- uhhh since you can just make water, I was thinking of having you also boil it.", France explained.
"I said 'how' not 'why'."
"I've farmed horned beasts, so I can use the longest horn I have on making the pipe.", France answered with confidence.
"It seems like you have the confidence, before we do your idea we need to patch up and increase the size of the cart.", Josh seemed to accept France's idea.
France had took some planks from his inventory, France had been taking effort in doing this it seems.
France seemed to have known that this was a dump from the very beginning as he took out some nails.
France used the planks to quickly fix the cart, using his old sword to hammer them. France then stretched out his arms, he was judging the space needed for a small steam engine.
In less than 3 hours, France reinforced the foundations and increased its length on one side.
It was the afternoon right now, and when they got here it was the morning.
"Hey France, I need to log off for a bit."
"Yeah, me too. I'll just see you later, I still need to do something."
Josh left the game and stood up, he yawned and started walking to the dining room of his house.
Josh drank some water and he waited for his father and mother to show up from work.
He checked his phone and saw a message from France of saying,
[I've placed the cart nearby the tree. Also, if you log in earlier then me please go to the village, I asked a blacksmith to make some stuff.]
The sound of a door opening echoed through the empty sounding halls. He walked towards the dining table and waited for his parents to come over there.
